the prison question is does it cost anything to keep them, there is a scene where 3g says its getting costly when the prison is almost full the first time.

It's not actually costly, but you might as well release the prisoners you don't intend on keeping in groups of 5, every 5 released at once gives you an item that boosts a character's level by 1.

so as soon as im done go against the Takeda?

I wouldn't mess with them until I have Kenshin, at the very least. It might be beneficial to try and eat the hojo first (the very south-east faction with the diviners). The Takeda are a pain in the ass to defeat, their cavalry units are OP and rather hard to get your hands on. And every few turns, they blitz you, launching the four consecutive attacks each led by a special character. Avoid going to war with them until you're forced to or you're really confident in your army.

taking over those blacksmiths changes the way thing play out, that group (symbol is a th) gets killed by the (sorry for not knowing their names) huge cursed man.

It's alright, I'm drawing a blank at that one's name too. That's a pity, as you've missed some scenes and the like, but ultimately nothing of great value is lost.

and it seems if that ninja girl (the one sent to kill you) isnt in love with you then you dont get to find and kill the ninja lord

Suzume. And I think the assassination mission requires it to be a 2nd game run, a.k.a you've beaten the game once before. He's not that good anyways as a character.

she needs to be in love with you for you to find him once you take over his country, which is stupid or was assassination mission something else?

i reloaded and warred them since they only fight if i hold one of their cities

does the nuhu hibachi ever join you?

whos Kenshin? and where?

ya, their cavalry is why i warred them in my first game and after one win i lost so badly i reloaded.

while it does work in my favor early in the game that anyone im warring doesnt seem to be attacked it sucks later because for some reason no one wants to war the demon army with me until they are dead (from as far as i got thats how it seems)

what does leveling up do? i didnt notice a change when i would do it.

You can only get Inukai on 2nd game, a.k.a after you beat him.

Not exactly. She joins as a sub commander in Akashi's unit.

You know the girl in the northeast who charges to others defence? That's Kenshin.

There's aren't many factions who fight one another, and the demon army stomps on anyone left.

what does leveling up do? i didnt notice a change when i would do it.

It affects things on personal battles, such as dungeons and the like, where the officer fights without troops.

well those cavalry guys fight two others and that stops once you war them and the huge cursed guy is fighting akashi which stops once you war either of them.

As I said, there aren't many.

so more hp, got it.

More HP, more damage, more defence, etc. etc. etc. But only in the solo battles. It still uses your attack, defence stats of course, but rather than being modified by your number of troops, it's modified by your level.

Yup. The final boss, for starters. There are a few others, but most of them are optional.

I never got trough this game...i couldnt retrive the lemon cause i dont know where to look.... i get banged from the demon army or even worse fom the eastern army with the mounted units. I just everytime get a Game Over, no matter what i do...and the wikipage is not precise enough or maybe i am just to bad to understand all the menues.

i can help with this, they are in that smallest religion territory, not the one with three castles but the one with two villages. Once you get the event about the lemons being gone you will notice (maybe) that a dungeon is available now and it seems you need to go there every turn, for some reason despite there being a farm and there should be enough to last them for a long time once i got that even i went there once and then got a scene where she was all demony and then calmed down.

as for the mounted units, since they count as range units what i did was have my front line focus solely on the enemy front line and got my strongest range units to focus on them. On your turns save before fighting them and try assassinating them (i reload if i fail at it just so i dont have to deal with them) and then overwhelm them with your armies power. If you are warring them before you have 8 commanders with 1,000+ units then you should consider a new strategy.

on defense: i never bothered to fight them since i sent my best agaisnt them on my turn and i didnt let the war last long enough but im told they can go godly powerful during their turn and just send wave after wave of special units at you. my def plan for others is footmen units with the miko healers, guard up and heal the entire fight. this works well against most groups but i never tested it on them since they have range melee units and the miko/archers get torn apart by them.

well until you war her shes scary strong and i havent found anyone harder to fight then her yet.

Even that demon girl you fight at the temple was easier to fight then she was.

Hey guys this is my first post so sorry if i made some mistake
Anyway this is my 2nd playthrough and I just enter Ran route but I have to block Takeda blitz attack. They are just too freakin' strong I got my ass whooped every time, I'm also at war with the Uesugi family. that means no Kenshin
Here is my current roster
