Nathan Fillion was 75% of the reason I even picked that game up. The other 25% was for playing as an ODST who I still think are kick ass guys.

Nope, nope. Even if fanfiction has it's own sort of Rules 34 and 35, I will not be disappointed in a no-sex Fillion piece.

On the subject of Nathan Fillion and ODST...
They had the Male crew of Firefly playing basically the same characters they played in Firefly. Hence the biggest reason I WANTS IT.

Only recently realised how an ODST movie could really work. If I was anything to do with the vague Halo movie project, I know that a story revolving around a team of ODST would be my first choice. A Spartan would of course feature, and be integral in some way, but be witnessed more from the perspective of the "little guys" watching something badass (naturally, whilst doing their own share of badassery).

But yah, play Minecraft. Play it! Remember that it is oof course still in alpha, and has a long way to go, but even now there's hours of fun in there. And Notch has recently left his day job and started working on it full time. So far there have been major updates and new features almost daily since. The new level generator system for the infinite maps is especially cool.
This is mah mountain fort thing. Saw this strange arch shaped mountain with it's convenient flat top and had to check it out. Only built a little tower on it at the moment. Check out the lava fall. Dug the entrance hidden in beside it.

Notch is an indie game developing hero, his continuing work on the game hasn't ceased to amaze me, and he deserves every penny. The monsters can only spawn in the dark. If you want to dig safely then keep your mines well lit, take one cavern at a time, and temporarily block up the passages you don't intend to explore yet. Of course with some cavern networks, especially the new epic infdev caverns, it gets to a point where trying to check every side passage is impossible. Best you can do in these cases is carry a lot of torches, put em down liberally as you go, and always be ready (and listening (for footsteps)) for an unwanted interruption.

I remember playing that game when it was at it alpha stages with no multi player support or anything apart from few basic blocks, good times!

Call of Duty: Black Ops is one of the games i'm waiting, ever so patently for...
Why?
It will finally put to use all me and my friends private "Back in Nam" jokes,
But more importantly...
Its made by TreyArch, Not InfinityWard!
I don't know how many of you have played this recently but from where I'm from, from the hours of 10:30pm through 4:00am it is the LOUSYEST time you'll ever spend playing a multiplayer game.
The situation gets so bad at times that all you wanna do is beat on people untill there reduced into a gooey stem-celly paste...
Exactly how it feels to watch the killcam of a 40mm. grenade TURN.. Nearly ninty degree angle turns, midair... Just to land in YOUR general area...
Just so they can get four kills in the first three seconds of the match call in a carepackage guaranteed to have a nuke in it and... End the match within 30 seconds with a 10 to 1 kill death ratio...
Anyone see something wrong with any of this?

I dunno. I'm looking forward to Black Ops as well, but so far Treyarch hasn't overly impressed me besides putting Canadians in Call of Duty 3. I've always found the Infinity Ward titles to be more engrossing than the Treyarch ones. Of course, I'm a sucker for single player, multiplayer is a side facet for me, nothing more, which is probly why Modern Warfare 2 didn't bug me as much as it did the majority of the populace. Infinity Ward has made some great campaigns in my opinion, not everyone agrees with me there I understand.

True the Campaign has always been great on the InfinityWard games, And my all time favorite mission by them as "One Shot One Kill"
Even with the infinite amount of terrorists, random dog spawn, automatically knowing where you are at all times, and grenade spamming...
The amount of quick sniping you get to do (On Veteran thats read as: HAVE to do)
Is insanely fun, watching them run and duck for cover while you plug one dude after another... They waited in line to get weapons... They can wait in line for a pine box...
My games been glitched though, I can't get the epilouge acheivement for going through the plane on veteran in that friggin' 59 seconds...
Completed it three times... Four if you count the time I jumped the gun and shot the Hostage when I saw the time leap from 7 to 3 seconds...
But I still beat it! MER!
The main reason I'm looking forward to Treyarch's game though is the MULTIPLAYER...
I've already checked there views on the MW2 J-tag fiasco and there sayings were pretty much the same as mine...
"Modding your X-Box is Heresy Any who mod on our server shall be hit with my mighty Banhammer!"
Okay so he didn't exactly say it like that... But I would have!
And I DO!
And Microsoft ought to take InfinitWard to court for breaking there "X-Box Code of Conduct", Because there guilty through assosiation, because they (microsoft) could use the extra publicity, because Microsoft is already scared from a rumor that a Japanese company is coming out with the next best computer program that's gonna put windows 7.....
