That's why I specifically said the NEG-rep system.
However I realize that it's not two separate systems and in fact just one reputation system in which you can get both positive and negative reputation.
So, to address your point, yes I have a positive rep-bar. With 2155 rep total, 109 +reps to 64 -reps, of the -reps around 37 or so are either nonsense, attacks, or blank. The rest I admit are reasonable responses, either constructive criticism, or reasonable given the content of the post and and not really needing to be put in the thread. I'm also including gray reps that I can discern the intent of. Trying to remain impartial, but of course that's a bit of a tall order when examining criticism of yourself.
Perhaps you're right, I should have said "I've mostly seen the negative reputation system used to attack people". Though to be honest, a good portion of the positive reputation I've gotten is in fact from this thread and from kind members with large amounts of rep power.
Were it not for the fact that I come in here and bitch about the negs, and intentionally keep from saying things that will get me lots of negative reputation (disagreeing with certain people) I'd be in the red for sure.
