I'm going for 3 also. While 1 would be useful for POSSIBLY slowing Sylvia down, I get the feeling she's too strong to be that affected by it and we'd only buy ourselves a few moments. The pod would keep her distracted for longer.
I got the impression that the feeder was different than the slime. Can you clarify, Serifyn?

i dont usually reply to these questions because i dont want to give anything away, but this is a bigger decision going forward.
The 'feeder' tentacle isnt slime, it is merely food. that isn't saying that it couldn't evolve into something else which could later on, the feeder acts like a delivery system throughout the lair.
Blue slime is valuable as it acts as a temporary buff which increases the probability that an event will go your way.
Think of these 3 enchantments in this way for now.
Feeder: Mail system
Mind Control: More Control.
Voracious: More Disable.
These skills will evolve based on which was picked first, as you gain power, they will as well. i wont specify what that means until it happens. but weigh your options before you decide.

I'm going with 1. While it probably wouldn't cripple our little purple princess, it will surely be useful for others, and I'm not entirely sure we're going straight up against her next. I'm going with 3. As much as 1. may sound useful in a way, Sylvia sounds like she has a lot stronger willpower than we'd be able to control with only minor power. Keep in mind also that we can summon tentacles to bind someone if we need them in a particular position.
3, on the other hand, is essentially a total defeat trap. If we disarm someone and can keep them still long enough to bring the pod up, they aren't going anywhere.
Since Sylvia left behind the staff, I'm going to assume that she either has other weapons, or she has a way to get other weapons. Therefore, if we can focus on disarming her with our own skills or weapons, the actual subduing would be entirely covered by the pod.
As for the food tentacle, while useful sounding, do we really want to be eating literal cream pies to keep ourselves going from now on? I'm sure the tentacles will provide us with some other kind of nourishment in the future, if we prove that we're better alive than dead to them.
