Even if it's only 10% it's always good for a newby to get his hand on 1 or 2 of those farming plat unit, it will always be much better than a silver even with lv1 skill, and this unit skill is not that good anyway, archer are more about raw power.

Yeah it can be misleading since I was only speaking from my own experience and it was anecdotal (not just this event, but it was the same for Momiji). I should've considered the actual chance when I wrote my previous post.

The only thing I want from the event is just multiple copies of Arisa and then I'm back to using stamina on Daily Missions (really need more fairies) again.

Agreed here, her skill is underwhelming so she's a rare event girl where you don't have to worry too much about that. I just would never recommend attempting more than 2 copies away from the final map. The spare is an automatic +1 skill and -1 cost, after that, good luck :p Rita will have trouble with armored units that even Daniela might not have with proper skill levels, that's why I'm kind of disappointed with her. Gotta wait to see her final stats on the wiki. She's so cute though...

Even in farm events, AW units are slowly becoming a necessity (Unless you can afford to spam it testing out lower level strategies or you already have someone else's low level strategy). Events are rougher than ever on new players. Lucky new players have so many new/easy ways to obtain silvers we didn't have, that and leveling is a lot easier. Still I think because of the difficultly of AWing units, it may take longer to catch up. I feel for you guys in clear events, which is why I try to warn you. Being stuck in a clear/farm event for an epic unit you can't complete is extremely frustrating.

Rita is decent, but there are some event units you really don't want to miss. Most farm event plats are like gold rarity strength but occasionally we get some that match or even beat similar rarity gacha units in certain aspects. Maribelle, Odette, Karma, Yurina and such are good examples.

Poor Ricca, 3 months now and still not allowed to be awakened. I can tell they're having trouble balancing and making her AWing worth it.

I believe they are just making her awesome, cool and hip AW pictire and sprite!

But seriously, she is awesome, I bet it's hard for them to make her balanced. Sadly my Ricca has only 4/10 skill but at least minimal cost ^^.

Does anyone know which units have new AW art and sprites ?

btw: New Plat Archer girl is really bad. From her art work, i have hoped her skill would be shooting black shadow magic arrow or some sort.

For anyone having problems with the last couple maps:

55/7 by Monme (Silver- Strategy with Minimal Unit Use):

(1 sniper, 1 warlock, 1 lord witch, 2 priestess, 2 battle masters, 1 bronze soldier, and Prince.)

100/2 by Taian (Gold- Strategy + AW Iris + Princess):

(Gosh, they made the movement pattern of these liches out to make them act like a bunch of jerks.)

Thank you for the concern; I am feeling a little under the weather at the present moment. Didn't help that the first thing I did was initiate the introduction to the new mission type when I just wanted to take inventory of the changes, since the developers also were late in posting a news update on their community board. Still haven't finished rough translations for the last two maps (along with any other fixes and changes I need to do).

Mmmm maybe it doesn't make too much sense after a gold rush with Claire but archers are rare for events (this is the my fist one, missed spika on gr2).
So I would recommend getting at least 2 copies even for new players since chances are you will be stuck with silver archers for months and months. Fully cost reduced archers are great but when u can spare a little more cost, a plat unit usually pays off.

It's true a near maxed Daniela will perform better more than half of the times but I like Rita's skill since it allow us to gank that lich bastards and take a good chunk of their HP before they reach the rest of the party.


Edit: If you got Claire and Spika from last events, just skip this event and go farm for exp :p

Rita is too situational, due to lack of damage buff during activation, it's really hard to warrant using her over another character. And I am saying this due to the fact Rita's raw attack is lower than both of our current plat rarity archers.
Never found a case where my archer takes damage from a lich (normally), I always have lightning rod in place for that. (Also, JP Wiki mentioned Nanaly Orb map) But I agree with that's where it's suppose to be used.
She's a decent afk archer if you don't have a plat or above. Especially with low cost. (My Nanaly's 16 cost, Rita goes down to 12) Frankly, raise Claire instead if you want an AW someone. Claire can punch through armor during skill activation and has a lower chance to triple shot at AW.

My judgement on her is treat her as mini-cans. (Then again, I only use range extend archers outside of Nanaly, so that's something you should note. Hence situational archer might not be bad)
And remember, cute is justice. Hence raise her for the sake of raising her is acceptable.

Execution error is a real issue on that map, you been warned. This one is more difficult than quite a few of the previous maps and really needs a strong Valkyrie/duelist with magic resistance.

Didn't want to try Taian's strategy (as always, I have a problem with raising affection and my Themis is still 0%), so I gave this a try.

AW50 Carry (17 cost) under AW53 Iris (18 cost) did not make it. Carry dropped as soon as I put down my Arisa (17 cost). I guess I'll farm some Arisa, gold fairies and fuse my copies of Carry/Iris before trying again.

Your archers don't get hit by a lich because you know is a bad idea and keep them safe. Anyway I completely agree she (like most event girls lately) is a situational unit.

Yeah, so far, unless her growth rate after AW is higher than the other archers. It's why I immediately thought her skill might be attack speed boost but nope. Her AW ability isn't all that spectacular either unless it has a much higher proc chance than Claire's. It's quite strange that she has weak base stats, a weak skill AND a weak AW ability. That hasn't really happened too often before. Usually weak base stats means that their AW ability or skill make up for it. All I can think of is maybe her ATT Speed is a bit higher than normal or something? I can't test it yet.

I think Aegis is counting a little too heavily on her skill being useful. Sure it will have uses and she's not bad for beginners, but overall she's one of the more underwhelming event girls so far. WHY DO THE CUTE ONES ALWAYS HAVE TO BE WEAK?! Still, I'm going to farm the fuck out of her :p Even though she'll probably be neglected soon, ala Chloe. Having a full archer team will be entertaining for some maps, I'm sure. At least Chloe's situational strength is OP so she can be used in really awesome strategies, Rita's...not so much.

Ah just saw Petite's updated translations, seem she may also be possessed. Funny her AW portrait looks more evil than her base one. Watch her stats become beastly after AWing lol.

Also worth nothing that her initial deploy cost is 14 so unless you can get at least -3 cost on her, she is completely useless.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like deployment cost is a real issue here. See if you can get get your Iris out earlier (as soon as possible) because I recall that my White Lily survived long enough for Iris to activate her skill even without Arisa.

Once Arisa is on the field, your more or less set given that you catch every single interception I did. (It's difficult to say the least due to the high speed map) and has lightning rods in place for the liches.

Note, a 3rd healer can replace the pirate as long as you kill the 2nd/3rd lich fast enough. But do note that the 3rd healer will be focused. The key in making this map easier is 100% interception of the black goblin archers and one, perhaps both of the dark elf mages.

Because the dragon coins is a higher priority, and I am not in a hurry for any units. (Especially since I don't plan to use Rita)

Isn't this shards event till november? That's quite a while ~ enough time to farm it later. Anya is most important now, since it's last weekend for her (270 DC to get Anya + Echidna).

I've got some infection (flu or smth) and I notice how my brain doesn't work very well with that flu. Yesterday I was waiting for 6 hours till 5 pm (midnight Japan time) to start farming DC. When I saw fairy dailies it took me a while to understand what just happend __^__ (missed one day somewhere...).
Please flu, go away :(

I already got Anya last week and Echidna is not on the top of my priority list so i would wait till the next time.
