The watering can is normally craftable, but the default config files that came with Hatpack have its recipe disabled.
For the item frame, that's really nothing. Just travel around a bit until you find cows. It's the essence pools that are the hard things to find. But again, the Arcane Compendium isn't really needed, it's basically just an in-game wiki.
As for bees... I'm really going to miss Extra Bees and Gendustry... No databases or Index blocks, no Industrial Apiary... The Alveries take a long time to get set up, since you need to breed Imperial and Industrious bees in order to make the paneling for them (Need Royal Jelly from the Imperial bees and Pollen from the Industrious bees).
The Apiaries are tricky to craft early on, but there's a much easier alternative: Bee Houses. They're made just in a regular crafting table with a comb and some wood and wood slabs. They work like Apiaries with the only exception that they can't accept frames. I've also heard that Ignoble strains won't expire in them either, but I can't confirm that myself.
