So i have a lot of somas from farming belindas final map. And by a lot i mean 10 somas. Should i just keep hoarding them all since i know plat and black archers take 3 silver archers to upgrade or should i just try to skill up the soma i already have? I already have her maxed cr since i had already rolled up 4 somas in premium summon.

Ask yourself if you use her skill or not. If you do, how often and with how much extra range you need it. Then decide.

I don't remember using her skill ever since CC. Pre-CC there was a couple of times, yes, but after.. yeah, zero. Maybe some specific map with specific tactics in future events will use her skill, but I doubt maxing it out will be ever needed.

jealous.... that whole week run i only got 1 soma...
Appearently i already used up most my silver and my box only have 40 left it felt soo empty.
I need to start stocking silver unit for future plat CC, but again next 1 aria CC is just easy soldier so i guess im safe

Ugh, I know the feeling, I got all of two soma's and that was with using 3 crystals to refill stam...

I REALLY hope the next event either has a higher silver drop rate or at the very least drops some decently leveled iron/bronze so you don't feel like all you did was waste stamina/charisma for.... Well, multiple days of runs with 0 drops.

Yeah, that was depressing.

isn't next event only a completion event? if you complete the maps you are guaranteed the drops?

The reward(s) are guaranteed if you get the stars necessary, but drops work like standard maps(i.e. 10% for Silvers), I don't think we've ever seen Silver drops higher than 10% from... any map, really, there might be a bit of fluctuation but in the end, it all seems to be about 10%.

Do any of the events at least drop freaking irons/bronzes at a not really depressing rate? That was my big problem with the last event.... I can see not needing that if you have all your units awakened but seriously, most of us are still CC'ing units let alone getting them to max level. We need our fodder

I can't find the post, how much attack should your archers have for Thursday daily hard? I have a CC'd Soma, Nanaly, Alissa, and Iris now, so I should be good to go, but just to be sure...

390 attack to 2hko the eyes, but Ive been doing it for 2 weeks with ~405 att Soma and ~270 att Daniela (after the bonus from Savior), both CCed and over 30 lvl, Soma has full affection and Daniela is at 0%, and it's more than enough. I only use 2 archers, 2 healers (also one strong and one average), Prince with Savior and Leeanne/Kerry to tank.

390 attack to 2hko the eyes, but Ive been doing it for 2 weeks with ~405 att Soma and ~270 att Daniela (after the bonus from Savior), both CCed and over 30 lvl, Soma has full affection and Daniela is at 0%, and it's more than enough. I only use 2 archers, 2 healers (also one strong and one average), Prince with Savior and Leeanne/Kerry to tank.

Aha. It didn't occur to me to use a tank. Are the eyes' beams magic damage? My Sybilla or Lilia should work for me (both level 50, 100% affection)...

In a move of brilliance used one of my three Phyliss instead of one of three Crave to CC Katie.

I got Bernard to 40 then rolled a Garrett, should I stop leveling Bernard and CC Garrett instead?

I use Fraps to make mine, then compress it with windows movie maker. I could use Sony Vegas but I haven't had it installed in more then 5 years.

Never needed to have a melee out when doing hard for Thursday. Granted my team is probably higher level wise compared to most players.
I simply put out both archers and then two healers and finally prince for the bonus.

I would because eventually you will want something higher than a silvers stats to tank, and Garret is a good tank, I still prefer Bernice for tanking just because affection gets her defense higher, but he will server you well for the rest of your game playing. Later in the game he can also be awakened which is only available to gold+ rarities.

wait, just checked garrett. he gets atk up for his skill and atk up for his trust bonus. i haven't maxed out garrett yet, but wouldn't leanne have the better hp/def? isn't the point of HA is to tank units?

Depends who you ask, some players prefer the higher attack value on their HA.
As I've stated before, currently DEF as a whole is largely unneeded to be maximized in our current game, eventually it will make a difference for some maps/events.
Granted I believe my princesses can do the job just fine, and once Anya comes into the picture, for me it's no longer a contest.
However, like you, I believe if the role a specific unit has, it should try to be the best for that role. Is why I like Bernice over Garret, but this thread has also had posters in favor of Garret.

Rolled Bernard with my first 5 crystals, he started with higher stats so I've used him as my main HA, Leanne is 17 atm. I've been playing for almost 2 weeks so I haven't accumulated the affection items needed for her to overtake him statwise.

Garrett's skill has kept me apprehensive, but being gold vs silver should minimize the gains of Bernard's skill.

Garrett's skill has kept me apprehensive, but being gold vs silver should minimize the gains of Bernard's skill.

Not by much, Garrett and Bernard pretty much have the same growth rate for Def, with both of them hitting 386 at 50CC50, obviously Garrett wins though since he can reach 50CC60 and get 402 Def then (Leeanne gets 426 at 50CC50 and let's not even talk about Bernice's 483).

Garrett's a bit of an oddball HA, his stats are Atk-heavy, his skill is an Atk buff and even his AW is a 20% chance to hit for 1.5, personally, I'm not a fan, HAs are mostly used to tank and half-assed DPS like what he offers is rarely useful enough to matter (Deine's a Black and has an insane multipler=not half-assed ).

Well, that turned into a rant, but between Bernard and Garrett, the latter wins due to being a higher rarity, the line blurs when compared to Leeanne though. I'm sure others would disagree but my assessment is that Leeanne>Garrett>Bernard as far as HA performance goes, I use them for their tankiness (Maribelle and Black HAs are special cases).

Bernice would be awesome. Leanne is 17 so it's not the end of the world, I'll probably use her and Bernard. The cost of Garrett (Unit and levelup) don't outweigh the pros of his stat where I'm at gamewise.

Speaking of which, I can reliably farm Return to Ruins, should I slowly build up CCs for a proper Castle Retake or try and sneak by with a one star?
