Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The problem with that is you're assuming that the JP Developers care at all about creating a fair situation for us when they have demonstratively not cared at all about something as simple as version parity. If they can't even just port content 1:1 to our version I doubt they're going to be receptive to actually changing content to fit the current situation.
The thing that you missing is...

Money is money. They want it. We have it. That is what they care about not JP vs EN. It is stupid to give up free money by being lazy or screwing said money away. In turn they make less than they would have.

JP Devs dug that grave for themselves when they decided to release content for this version of the game so slowly. My team (As many teams in this thread are) is overleveled, I'll never need to spend SC on any event in the foreseeable future unless I really want to perfect a unit or am dying to have something in spotlight. The problem is when events come out once every two to three weeks of course I'm not going to be spending money that much, if at all. If they want my money what do they expect me to do, throw some cash into premium summon and just play a lottery rigged against me with units I don't even care to have?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Then make that clearer and not ambiguous.

Parity between versions could've meant obtaining features that aren't currently available in the Nutaku version. Features such as awakening, extreme maps, desert story missions, eastern country story missions, autocomplete, current events (which would continuously be piled onto the "We want them" event list), and missing units.

If people keep asking for old events, then you'll never reach parity if it's only about events. There's too many events to go through. Asking for every old event and wanting the new events as well is just being greedy.
The issue with this is that the community is largely divided on "what they want". Even here on the forums there are a good number of players who want all events, some like me could care less about what event we get as long as we get them released in a timely fashion.

I will say there is a distinction between event and content patches, though both are often released simultaneously. Personally I want the content patches, as overall that provides more stuff to do, and puts us as close to DMM's version (eg same build) with out having to worry about their release schedule, and they can maintain their status quo of "at our own pace" for event releases.

It seems that they have finally decided and "picked a direction", I just wish we knew what that direction was/is at this point. It's been left ambiguous at best currently.

@Xovian;

Congrats on max level units. Does that mean you also have a max level team of males for the Wednesday Daily?

@Slurm09,
Nope, the team you see is the team that is max level (+ some extras).
Don't even have enough male units to make team, though currently there aren't any challenges my male team can't 3 star which consists of mostly AW fodder.

Edit:
I'll make a vid this Wednesday that shows what I use for the Hard male only map.
It's not overly impressive since I use 2 max soldiers (Jerome and Julian) a 45 Christopher and Stray whom is 37.
Rest are Valerie's that are AW fodder (30cc1) and what ever archers I throw in from Dragon Hunting.
While I was ridiculed by some a few months back for stating the male maps are too easy, I still stand by what I said then, compared to the female only maps, the male maps are a joke.

The male maps are easy because they are the only way to power up the same units that the maps themselves require. Plus, the difficulty in building a quality team for the map (healer, non-irons/bronzes).

Earlier it was mentioned that the Black Unit Aisha is broken, why is that?

Also, what are the top 3 or so maps to farm for affection items?

Imagine a Mage, with a huge range (pretty much global with Skill AW), that shoots 1.5k damage single-target fireballs, on five different targets, every hit (with her skill active, that is).

That's Aisha, the #1 most broken unit in the game.

Though calling her a Mage doesn't fit, she's closer to a vampire hunter with her standard multi-hit attack really, but they're not available yet.

With new maps, AW skills and broken units DMM Aigis seems to be going into Super Saiyan territory.

There's a lot of griping about not enough content in the Nutaku version right now, but from what I'm reading about DMM I'm kinda thankful we're not experiencing impossible content.

Aisha isn't a particularly new unit though, she's existed since Oct 2014.

And the content that we're not getting that is perfectly do-able?

@Nirhael;

Thanks for the answer. Sounds like Aisha really is a broken unit.

How do revival events work? I want to know so I can be prepared for when they happen.

If it's a drop-type Event like Belinda or Maribel, then it's just the exact same maps, usually, if it's a star Event like Aria's and Echidna's or a collection one like the incoming Karma Event then it's still the same maps, but most drops (if not all) are replaced with "Revival Crystal" drops, which are kind of like Demon Crystal, except that they're used to purchase Revival Event units.

For larger scale events a month is selected as a revival month, during the weekends only the revival missions become available again. For Star or Resource collection events this might be multiple weekends, for unit drop collection it's usually only one weekend of revival.

Using Aria's event as an example you can gather a certain amount of "Dragon Crystals" by clearing the maps and exchange them for the event units. For other units like Maribel or Belindas you just get the maps and have to farm the unit drops again.

Do not expect any revival events anytime even remotely soon btw.

@Nirhael; and @Prototype909;

Thanks for the replies.

For the revival/dragon crystals are they only for that event or can I keep them for the next revival event?

You keep them, the currency is usually unique per revival event though.

I really doubt they're going to dump the old currencies onto our version, most things so far have been using the updated versions so I'm pretty sure we're getting the consolidated Revival currencies and not the annoying unique ones.

Long time lurker and twitter user, first time poster and pure F2Per.

One thing I noticed from the event updates is that they have been heading toward parity such as introducing new classes. The problem is that EN version have week-long breaks in between while the JP have been cranking new content every week. JP devs appear to have a schedule and has conceded only one event (Maribelle) from the EN community. So it seems to me that reaching parity will take a long time and this is due to the dev direction.

Frankly, I don't care too much about revitalizing old events, but I am also becoming weary of having one week breaks. I wouldn't mind if the previous events were extended for another week so I can farm more silver units. Content updates have been stagnant and the EN community's concerns are never really addressed by the JP devs. It would be great if they were more transparent on their long-term plan and at least explain how they will reach complete parity plus how long it will take. I honestly can't see how these breaks will help at all.

That said, I still enjoy playing the game despite my weariness from endless runs of Dragon Hunting and Phalanx 2. Also hello to the fellow perverts in ULMF.
