(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

My progress is

Level: 50CC61
Affection: 75%
CR: -4
Skill: 8/16

How is everyone else doing?

-Lvl 50 (still no warr to CC and I only have 900K left, which I set as emergency funds, so gatcha frenzy came to a stop)
-CR at limit value
-Skill 7/16
-Affection 0% (I'll just bump it to 100 in 1 go after CC)
-3 fodder Odettes on the wait of CC

On another note I also only need 3 more demon crystal drops to get Akane and be done with this trading post units.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

My Odette's at -3 CR and skill 3/16 after two sets of 2 Odettes and 2 Platinum fairies. I stockpiled roughly 50 plat fairies over the interlude we had since the last event, so as long as Odette continues to drop, I have the fairies.

In other news, I'm taking a break today from farming Odette to farm Demon Crystals instead, and thanks to that, I now have a min-cost, skill 3/5 Spica.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Level 31, SL 6, CR -2. I'm not using any faeries, just using crystals on stamina. I think karma is paying me back for my -2 CR Jerome and -3 CR Thetis that didn't fail.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

-2 5/16 with 3 SC spent

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I would go as far as to say it might be a good idea to level and CR 2 of Odette for players who don't have Garania, and especially so for players who don't have Mehlis. Beards can't even break 500dmg threshold without Prince.

Is 500 dmg a particularly important breakpoint for mages?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Decided to blow sacred crystals today.
4 pulls and all silvers...
it was so sad I was tempted to buy some but decided not to because the rates are so bad compared to japan version.

It's the breakpoint for weak mages and strong ones(no, not really, maybe?), it's really just to show how weak they are when compared to a Platinum Mage like Odette who goes over 600.

Look at it this way. Strong point of mages is clearing packs of weaker enemies at once while still providing a nice dps for the bigger ones at the same time.
Most common "meat" in enemy ranks we have right now is goblins. Red melee have 1k HP, black - 1,5k. If mages can't, for example, 2-hit red goblins, their effectiveness as crowd control drops somewhat and you may need to compensate by putting HA in place where just a duelist would suffice.

In any case, difference in atk value between gold and platinum mages is so high there's no arguing as to what's better. Especially considering AoE nature of this atk value: difference goes not only to primary target but to all affected.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

When it come to magic spell the difference in dmg might not be as important as physical dmg.
We looking more into the the dps as in dmg per second more than a high atk in 1 hit.
The reason for this is because magic dmg reduction MR s reduced by %, while physical dmg is reduced my substraction.
I'm not really sure with what kind of breakpoint you looking for, but as far as i played other than the different between trowing 2 fireball instead of 3, which always vary depending on map.
There no such thing as break point or requirement that a unit need to have *** magic atk to be really useful.

For physical, i been researching alot of enemies that been popping out lately, they usually have a range of 200-300 def average, 500 for multi large enemy, 800 for special type of enemy... but again this is for JP 1 so don't need to worried in EN 1 atm
Note: since i don't know how updated EN aigis regarding unit class yet (well the fact oddete give 600 is pretty updated) / there some part ppl might want to know like archer deal 1.1x dmg to flyer (1.3x on AW but thats for later) / VH 1.1x on undead...

Thanks for the constructive and helpful posts, Altrius and Gromelon, I cannot argue with your points and agree completely.

I'll probably stick with Mehlis and Garania as I'm lucky to have both, and I've been getting awful results in this event. All stamina went exclusively to farm for Odette and I'm still at -2CR and 2/16 skill.

The rates are the same as the JP version. It is just your luck.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

ive got a -3 skill 5 out of 9 sacrifices

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Apologies for getting back on complaining train, but I definitely feel y'all's pain about farming Odette. Right now I've farmed the last map 9 times and I've gotten her once (I'm assuming she was 100% guaranteed or something as a first drop). That 50% drop rate doesn't seem realistic right now. :/ Yeah yeah, still got some time to farm before the event ends, but are we really sure her drop numbers stay the same as the JP version? I mean, isn't there some incentive for the devs to reduce her drop %s in order to attempt more SC spending on charisma?

(Or maybe I'm just a little frustrated about going 1/9).

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So, I logged on just now to find this.

Edit: Damn, barely beaten ;D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Those 5 sc though, it's almost like they're trying to tell me to roll a premium.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Is Odette a unit worth using SCs for? Mine is at SL 3 and CR -3

edit:

Forgot to say I already have a Garania.
