Re: Gears Freak

Okay, using that Save3 that moogles posted on page 5, I:
1) Went into the inn at the town, and talked to one of the 3 guys on the top leftmost table to get a new map.
2) Went to the new area, desert area on leftmost of map.
3) Reached this tomb, talked to this spirit, got swimsuit,
4) Went back to the volcano, reached the dragon.

And then what? Talking to the dragon twice, battling and winning against him, and then nothing happens. What to do next?

EDIT: ...Okaaaay...so I went back to the lab (the one in the beginning, not the green-haired girl one) for "training" and this time the penetration scene occurred. After a few more times of that, went out to world map, then went to the green-haired girl in her lab. Scene occurs after speaking to her (she has a red arrow above her). Dammit, this game seriously lacks a good walkthrough, and playing blind is painful.

Re: Gears Freak

How the hell do you get to Floor 4 of the sand temple on the left side of map? 1st and 2nd jump are no problem, but no matter how i try the 3rd one always fails, its really freakin annoying.

Is that the pyramid?

Either space out the jump properly (as in the landing spot = full jump length) or jump into the statue and she should correct her course to land on safe spot perfectly.

If you are too close the jump just fails -x - possibly due to whatever coding the author did to prevent the VR skip.

Re: Gears Freak

Hold S + direction button to change direction without moving.
This makes jumping easy.

It is also covered in the jumping tutorial.

How do you lower shame? I unlocked costumes and got to level 10 of the infinite dungeon, gotten her defeated a bunch and still at 100 Shame.

@Seipher
I don't think being outright defeated does anything for her shame. It has to be through in-combat interactions.

[Post Game Analysis]
The Good:
Really fun game. They built pretty much their own system on top of RPGMaker, and even if it is clunky it's still real damn good.

Everything about the girl is customizable, and all of her scenes are pieced together from individual components.

The Bad:
The porn section and the breaking section are literally post-game content.
I'm calling the infinity dungeon post-game because it occurs after the main storyline (which I'm assuming is her finding the thingie that pops out of her) is DONE at that point, and the resulting sex scenes don't seem to do anything for the story besides occasionally having eggs pop out. Which is nice, I guess.
The porn also hits one of the key problems with procedurally generated content pretty hard: it's very repetitive and not very deep. The scenes are pretty much stock images (but moving and with the nico nico scrolling, which is nifty) and...well, even though they are pieced together from a shitton of components it's not too engaging after you've seen most of them. And odds are by the time you reach the endgame where they are unlocked you would have seen most of them by fifteen minutes.

So if you're gonna play this (and care about my advice) play it from the beginning instead of using a save. It's just more fun that way.

ADDENDUM: It feels as if the endless dungeon doesn't necessarily "reward" you for every ten levels, instead it gives you a menu option you haven't unlocked yet.

Sounds sort of like MaidenSnow Eve, then, where the H-content didn't stand out but the gameplay system was well developed (if not as smooth).

Re: Gears Freak

For the sake of the lazy, I attached my save file past the dragon, past all of the talking and stuff, and with 0 "decency" or whatever it's called.

The problem is, it's based on the savefile from moogle, so I don't know anything about the game... I've found out that you "equip" costumes in the last section of the inventory, but I don't think I've got everything unlocked.

Anyone mind telling me how you get hairdye/hairstyles/costumes? Is it all from Dungeons, or do you need to buy it/craft it?

EDIT; Apparently that save was broken? So I compressed it a different way this time. Hopefully, that fixed it.

New shop NPC's show up, the ones across from the inn sell a bunch of random coloring (for eyes, hair monster coloring and more)
not sure how its applied though!

Hair, eye, and skin color should be immediately obvious.
The others you can see them during battle.

Pretty sure the UI/combat stuffs are free script - - since I vaguely remember a few other games have it.

I remember seeing other games that play like this but this was the first one that (I felt like) made the gameplay its main purpose.
(Plus, no script works 100% the way you want it to right out of the box, so even when it's someone else's code it still requires some careful tooling to get it to work right.)

Not necessarily true.

Some scripts can make itself efficient enough that you don't need more 'tooling', just plug it in the right spot is enough.
(For example, those skill attacks are most likely scripted, like the dash angling your sprite and move forward, in which case he only need to put it into the game file)

There was that agent:zero or such name? That actually had better combat than this one imo.

Personally - -a I played this one to watch the...slow (due to progress in game required) process of her breaking in VR.

Re: Gears Freak

Anyone figured out how to get the different stones to buy stuff from the shops in town?

About in-combat interactions to lower shame ... how do i get them? I went to the orc dungeon and nothing ever happened, they just knocked her down and that was it.

You did all of the stuff to get to post game, right?
After that, you just need to get groped. Shame goes down, groping gets dirtier, shame goes down, then penetration.

Yeah, the combat animations are probably stock, but they definitely needed to manually hook it up into the game system they made. (Having the dash animation do damage is probably not something the animation script includes.)

I personally really got into this game after I knew about the post game opening up. The anticipation was fun.
(The fulfillment on the other hand...)

Re: Gears Freak

EDIT: NVM...after reaching post-game...

The tl;dr is that there was some info that make my earlier thoughts 'wrong' (for example, since the girl forget everything after VR, the dude basically use the VR time almost like fapping material...)
Essentially, the 'blue orb' the green hair requested was possible to make since you got the rod after plant boss.

It's just that you need to JAM IT IN...

So when the girl meet dragon, ask about the orb and got a 'nope, ain't no blue orb here, also, show that rod to your friend' she did.

Got JAM IT IN.

And the green hair explains how from now on her body will change any pregnancy monsters might put on her into 'egg' that lets her use the ability of those monsters or such...

Also some talk about how it's ok for her to go have sex or such now...

Like..really...wat...

Re: Gears Freak

Well, geek talk aside, I definitely think the author planned the H-content poorly.

In particular tying it to progress of story when there's no reason to.
For the VR part, it become awkward when you realizes it, since the girl have no reason to do VR again after the first test, yet he still is able to continue breaking her.
Or that even if you lose a billion times in VR, she doesn't break.

For the outside part, the monsters show penetrating image but apparently doesn't count...yeah...

If anything, I think the author could've done it differently.
If it requires the girl being broken in VR for her to willingly have sex (reasonable), makes it tied to losing in VR, any loss in real world she'll still use the stone to escape.

It'd still have the same progress as far as her 'story' goes (broke in VR first) but it'd be a lot more believable and be accessible much earlier for people who just want her to break :v
There's also the issue that by the time the player gets to the 'good stuff' you're thoroughly tired of the game and have long since lost interest. Or quite likely before that. Lets face it; an hgame without good sexual content is just a bad game. There are thousands of normal games out with better gameplay if that's what I wanted. You play hgames for the sex content first, and great gameplay is just a bonus; though that said that's still a minimum standard for gameplay or no amount of sex can make it worth going through.

This save file is broken for me. Why is that?
