I'm always weirded out why an account made when the patreon started that posts using art drawn by the patreon who only has posts in the thread about the patreon who disappears when negative things are said about the patreon who sometimes posts updates in this thread minutes after or sometimes even BEFORE the update goes up on the patreon speaks in third person.

And I have posted on other threads, not that you would have been bothered to check, but since this is the game I've a patron of for the most time, I can post useful information (unlike your post) and answer most questions people may have about the game. You missed the + instant access to early builds, high res psd and animations, designs and game plan folders.
Everyone else will get the game even if they pledge $1 or $100 jesus, why am I even explaining this...

As for some previous comments, I never mentioned I'm going to do SFW games exclusively.
What I said was I'll design the next games as SFW and ADD NSFW separately for patrons while other non-patron players can get it as optional.

That's not even my point. Obviously people who pledge that amount will get more and those extra stuff, duh. What i mean is why the need to hide simple cheats behind a paywall, cmon bruh. Yea sure like you said it's yours, you can do whatever format you want, take however you like. Similar to how I am just saying what I think as well. It's not stalking in this case. You are famous enough to make researching your person a valid response from the public. It's generally accepted to screen people these days. Every major company does it. Don't get paranoid, no ones going to follow you in real life. Only information we'll get is the one you provide yourself.

I don't think there's a reason to do such thing. Quite the opposite in fact. Now's the best time to make things right. While rough around the edges, the demo you've provided is really nice and deserves further development. Too bad you've changed the visual conception with Chris on board. Old art wasn't bad and I really enjoyed it

As the previous posts said, clear up your misunderstandings and you will definitely get support from people who aren't yours.
I already posted earlier that your game is actually good, but not with all these pages of negativity people will be willing to invest in you. Base on your patreon comments, seems true as well that you kinda screw up delivery. No need to lock up the thread, it's a hub for people to get around to learn more about your game and your progress. If you really did nothing wrong, what's there to hide, it's publicity.

There is no reason to speculate wildly on extremely rare basket cases and pretend it's a realistic threat.

Tone it down, there is no reason to jump to conclusions and attribute to malice what is just as likely to be incompetence/ While the end result for someone like a Patreon backer is pretty much the same thing it's just going to create senseless friction to try and shout out extremes and accusations. All that matters is that the people behind the Patreons have shown themselves incapable of delivering the product they promoted at a reasonable pace, and failing doubly by not properly communicating what the problem is. Yes, it can be a scam, but just because a crime COULD have been committed doesn't mean someone is now guilty until proven innocent. There has been no real evidence of intentional wrongdoing, so stick to the facts. Ineptitude, incompetence, folly, those are the things we know are true. Whether there might be a scam on top really doesn't matter all too much.

The way I see it, if a dev sits on his patreon bucks without releasing a decent quality game in a realistic time frame, due to incompetence or not, intentional or not, it should be criminal. Most devs who wait till they finish their game before they receive payment for it don't even take as long as most of these patreon projects. Of the dozens and dozens of Patreon projects I've seen presented at this forum, only three I can think of hasn't done this, Blitz Angel Spica, Anthophobia, and Heroine Rumble.

There are far more than just that, you just used your own ignorance as an argument along the lines of "I don't know of any more, so my claim that there isn't many is totally legit!" The fact is that failed projects like this raise a lot of stink and are far more memorable than the many but often minor successes we see from Patreon. Nobody pays particular attention to a car just driving down the road, but a car crash is instantly memorable.

It's also folly to suggest that incompetence should be a criminal offense, I mean what the hell dude? The payment here isn't exactly unclear in its terms either. You as a Patron are supporting a creator, not financing a project (that is technically up to the creator) and it's a relationship where trust is paramount because of how much power it (intentionally) leaves with the creator. This obliges the Patron to be cautious and careful, and pull support if this relationship is abused or simply doesn't work out. That this system is easily exploited and can also fail is evident, but this is true for ever method of producing work, Duke Nukem Forever wasn't a Kickstarter or Patreon project, these things happen regardless of the platform.

Yes, the dude here takes far too long and has failed to produce acceptable (imo) work over the period of two years, supporters of him chose to make this gamble and him failing to succeed for whatever reason has little to do with criminal activity. Just stop your support if you feel it's not working out, and if you have a solid basis to suspect an actual scam (as in, evidence, not just some gut feeling) then by all means take appropriate action.

What a weird sentiment, if anything a locked thread full of angry customers is a sure sign to stay away, and prevents the thread being bumped to the front page and pulling in fools who only read the first post and get excited.
