Re: Curse of Craclevania 2, WHAT?! A decent game from toonpimp?!
o.o Wonderboy mopped the floor with this guy. <3 I'm all excited now.
You can't read the flow, it ain't over till the fat lady sings!
Ok, seriously? Are you saying that the people who pay an agreed amount for an agreed product and then don't get their product, are you saying it's their fault because they should've known because that's what you should expect from TP, and then go on to say TP's a great guy?
It really seems like that's what you're saying. Only with more metaphors. And I have to say, that's one fucked up argument man...
That's what you say, i say that if you give money to someone that is unreliable and get burned, then you start a tantrum about what an asshole said person is, you're the one that's gonna look like an idiot, but it's really sad that you people keep focusing on this part of the argument ignoring the contextual meaning of the whole thing.
Watch political debates much? Next time, take the time and see how long it takes them to start talking budgets... Whether it's useful to do it as much as they do is arguable, but there's no doubt that someone has to.
What's your point?
In political debates people have to discuss about personal preferences?
Your point is not clear, try to elaborate it so it connects to the argument please.
Hmm, If you go WAAAAAYYYYY back to page one, you'll see something interesting... First people are talking about the game... Then freakyface talks about the game and adds a little note saying that TP is a decent artist, and if he had someone who collaborated with him/ something that made him work on one thing at a time that would be epic.
And then comes a rant defending TP and his games. That rant is from you.
Then people start hating on TP. Which I can understand. I dislike him a little too, not because of the quality, I've seen worse. Not because of the quantity, he releases stuff. Not even because he recycles his stuff... No, the reason I dislike him is, as many people have pointed out, that he breaks promises.
Poor thing, trying to use my posts against me.

What you call a rant is an answer to Archer's comment:
I really have no idea why people keep giving him money, he hardly finishes anything and I know of at least two games that were paid in full (and then some) that he's just dropped.
With a little reference to funrabamax comment(as an informative side note):
- It's furry...
- Wait, that's not a positive.
While the only part referred to freakyface's comment was a joke about sharing money, and was separated by the rest of the post by a very visible line of "*", but i guess that was too subtle for some people.
If you want to break my posts at least do it properly.
@Papanomics
It's your money, your rules, i sure won't judge for that.
I agree, especially since the thread was about "a decent game from toonpimp", so let's not focus on what kind of person he is, but rather on what he does.
Might sond weird coming from me, but i agree.
>.>
Oh come on. Stand up for your opinion, man. Don't half-ass it and say "Oh I disagree, but I wanna soften the blow so I don't become the enemy." Say it outright: You guys are being whiny bitches. Toonpimp isn't as bad as you guys make him out to be.
Now it's your turn.
Amen, brother!
I personally don't even care about the holding games ransom thing. That aside, I think he at one point (with only the change coming recently) that he was probably the best RoR artist. But anyone who, not only can't take any criticism even in constructive forms but even reacts harshly to it, is not someone I can at all like or respect. I don't put any of this into the worth of his games, but I mean just listening to any way he acts or types to people, he is a complete human cock. Since the beginning, he has not only not respected his fans, he's gone as far as disrespecting them. Sure, we rag on him, so throwing in ulmfsucks as a password might be hostile, but it's not unreasonable. But the people who praise his games are worth as little as we are if they never gave him money directly, and he doesn't just neglect them but even will make fun of them within the contexts of the very games he released. It's like if you look up to this other kid in school because he was popular, and he invites you to his house, makes you a sandwich, puts it on the table, and then pisses on it and says, "That's for you, faggot." Whether or not his sandwich is delicious, which I thought some of them were, the person who made it is of highest douche caliber.
I agree, but was it really worth making a post about it?
(Aside from personal satisfaction)
