So, what's the verdict on the yaoi content? Is the game setup in a way where that's avoidable?
From reading through the thread, it seems you could maybe just tell the brother to stay? But he'll just end up teleporting back to you once you go far enough away? So, no way you could just leave him behind, to not risk a scene playing?
In general, I like the games from this circle. Have definitely gotten the impression that this one isn't much compared to their previous titles, but would still be interested in giving it a try. But, I have NO interest in seeing yaoi/pegging content. Unless there's a reliable way to avoid that, I'll probably give this one a pass.

Simple really.
Learn the weapons and traps well enough that you avoid getting caught, play as the brother, use the sister as shield if things get dicey (that way you'll get a scene for her instead).
Later it's harder to avoid enemy but if you're playing as the brother you can quickly break away from enemies, if you use the sister and he gets caught the scene only plays if you're close enough to him. In that case you just put him on one side and fight the enemies. So yes, it's actually pretty easy to avoid brother scenes granted you have the skills and know-how.

@KHTA Hmmm, thanks for the input. Guess the only real problem with that is the required know-how. Sounds like there'd definitely be a bit of a learning period at the start, figuring out how the game handles. Haven't really decided if it's worth it or not yet, but I figure I at least have a bit more info to go on. Appreciate the response.
I'm with you as I don't like the thought of dudes or even futas taking it up the butt. However, I found that playing as the brother and paying more attention to the right side of the screen kept me from really having to see him in "situations".

In my honest opinion this game is one of the weaknest they have made so far Every sound hurts my ears the
Enemy animations are mediocre and i have tried so hard to like this game but i just can't find a good reason as to why i should
Most of the weapons you get early on either lacks damage or lacks ammo capacity or takes waaay to long to reload to make them any useful
I bet you get better weapons as the game goes on but it doesn't forgive the lack that early game combat is one of the more weaker parts of the whole game.

This was a great short game. Some notes about this game
Right-click the top window bar to increase the window size to 200%.
There's an auto-save function, but you can also manually save on the world map when you hit X and then select the first option.
After you finish an area returning to the area again will reveal a new path has been opened up and you can find more stuff, like new weapons or accessories and a new treasure at the end.
There are 3 extra hearts you can collect through all the dungeons.
If you're still missing something try talking to the NPCs in the town, there's one that'll give you stuff I think.
After clearing the game going to the ship port right next to the town allows you to restart the game from the beginning while keeping the weapons, traps and accessories you collected.
I believe I've found everything so I'll attach the full save.
I don't know if there's a way to text hook this kinda game, but I've attempted to screenshot the explanations of the different accessories you get, but the online picture translator didn't really give me anything useful out of it, probably because of the font. Maybe somebody here with some knowledge of Japanese could take some time to translate them, it's just a few lines, I've compiled them in an image.
She's saying something about updates I think, but there aren't any yet so maybe that means we can expect content updates for this game later on?
The gameplay is fine overall honestly.
There are some things you can critique about the gameplay for certain some things have already been pointed out here. I find the high respawn rate of enemies in certain locations quite annoying, it pretty much forces you to just run in and destroy the crystals in the last area for example as you can't manage to attack them from a distance really with enemies spawning again while you're reloading and the fact that just quickly mashing out of the enemies grasp even on one health left works quite well in these situations also makes the difficulty of the game arbitrary, even on the higher difficulty settings it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I didn't know about this, but I checked it, it doesn't really show properly on the world map that you can go there like with the other places, here's a screenshot of where it is for those who care.

Just turn down the volume in the options or in the Windows volume mixer. All weapons, even later on, won't be enough alone to beat the enemies, you have to use the traps too.

I dunno why you're so opposed to playing the game just because you might see a boy get fucked in the butt, but if you really want to avoid it altogether you could go into game folder bmp/picture/anim and then there are all the folders with the animations of the game and you could go into each folder ending with L for left, which is where the boy's animation is displayed, and then replace the bmp files inside with empty bmp files of the same image size and file name and then it shouldn't show any of his animations in-game at all. That's quite a lot of effort to avoid the gay, but if you're so homophobic you can't stand seeing them for a second every time you mash out of the grapple of the enemies that's a guaranteed way of avoiding it.

You put in good work but I must say wanting to avoid Yaoi, especially shota yaoi, is nothing to call 'homophobic'. It can be a turnoff for certain people, little more. I like tentacle shit but it's not 'tentacle-phobic' if you consider it a turnoff, right. You're not discriminating by being turned off by something that's just how your brain is wired lol

Couldn't have said it better myself. And honestly, I wasn't gonna. Had no plans to respond to Neluor. Really just seemed like bait to me. I figure most people are gonna see that sorta notion, and (very reasonably) have the same reaction that you did, Caernarvon. Well said.
Yaoi is a HARD NO for me, same as I'm sure for others it's something like bestiality, or ryona, or LITERALLY ANY fetish is a HARD NO for somebody. Everybody out the has their own preferences. No homophobia. I simply don't wanna see yaoi in the porn I consume. Whole reason I'm playing porn games in the first place is to be aroused. I asked a very neutral question, about whether or not that particular fetish was avoidable. No judgement attached to that. If other people like that content, good for them. I however, would like to avoid it.
Regardless though, let's go ahead and keep discussion here from devolving into a ridiculous mess, and keep it about the game. I'm not planning on responding to anything about the yaoi topic, unless it's strictly game related. Info about my initial question, or something else of note that I find worth talking about on the subject.

There isn't anything necessarily wrong with having a discussion about the merits of yaoi and one's opinion on it, as long as you guys aren't hitting below the belt or deviating completely off-topic. Just be civil.

This was my strategy and I found it easier to protect myself than to protect the NPC....especially later when you have enemy spawns from all directions. A shame elf girl only had 3 story based H....

Sadly you can't expect that, since it's also artist's preference, he/she are heavily flexible in both fetish be its straight or gay(both yuri and yaoi).
But seeing how most of their arts turn out, a boy side are mostly interspecies sexual rather than straight up gay or homosexual, they mostly involve a boy with certain another organism that may or may not viable for gender accounting or with futa instead which technically not gay but utilize the maximum effect of prostate orgasm that also very famous in futa or female dominance community.
Sooooo, let's say they're very low key gay when it come to shota, trap, yaoi or even yuri content with this circle but it's quite impossible to not expect to see a boy getting things up his ass with every creation that pop out since it's never a 'standard' but their 'fetish'.
Since only 1 of the mobs in this game, the Mummies, that identified as male since they technically been human, even tho they're now undead which categorized as Mamono(Monster) but a male body still a male so this one absolutely gay or yaoi for sure. But other than that is just milking or pegging which the circle themselves rather enjoy this tags but when come to same species activities they mostly pair up a boy with actual girl in mostly heterosexual way just as you seen in most CGs of their game.
But hey, people like, dislike each tags differently, I wouldn't ask a question how you or someone dislike certain tags because it a personal taste, it's all entertainment we pick for ourselves anyway, no point enforce my view or opinion on those, just people prefer to enjoy things they love most and rather avoid those dull them down, simple as that.
