Thats not going to change anytime soon sadly, there are a lot of japanese devs that intentionally insert impossible puzzles and such into games just to stop English only speakers from being able to play them because they dont feel that we are worth their time. The rest of them basically could care less about us either way.
Soooooo basically don't feel guilty about pirating those particular devs works?

Eh, any dev that make complex puzzles to punish non-japanese speakers tend to be the crowd that work on the rpgmaker engine.
But who cares about the majority of those devs? Static H-CG is in the past, along with their outlook towards an overseas audience.

Besides. I've also noticed a lot of devs tend to express surprise when they discover they have an overseas audience, and I can think of a few of them that try to help non-japanese speakers out without insulting anybody's intelligence. Such as Zell23 including inputs for abilities in their description, and Dieselmine for leaving arrows and gleaming spots of where to go and what to interact with.

Honestly, most Japanese devs are pretty nice people and can even tolerate piracy of their games if it brings them publicity.

Do you really waht to say that you play h-games predominantly to force solving the the puzzle to keep forward as fast as you can, lol?

Yes,I too had stucking moments in his previous game, but fukin comon is this a real reason for you?Why must the art be translated to your language to be better?Seems like exuses for me

No matter this "unsolable" puzzles you play and fap on this and you enjoy it,why?

As for me - this is a content which I cannot just play for free and pass by,it must be rewarded and supported to keep developing. This is totaly deserved piece of art I think

If you have enjoyed the game and want him to keep going, please purchase the official one.with our approvals he will be interested to keep making new ones and as statistcs shows every new game of him looks more and more smoother
Total sales count for now is 3100. In powers of every man to make a contribution to an art

I definitely think official translations would bring in a lot more sales, at least enough to cover the extra effort. Though creators have no obligation to cater to us I think everyone would benefit in the end. A lot of people just pirate because they're not sure if they will enjoy games because of language barriers. It may take a paradigm shift to bring more westerners into the market though.
Pretty sure the dev once said that translating Barrage wasn't worth the effort, hence why they didn't translate the rest of their games.

Dev isn't totally wrong, in general at least. There has been honesty very few cases where an official translation has brought in a lot more sales. Especially compared to the original. Anyone who does so it's more in appreciation to their overseas fans whether than for actual profit.
Using hatahata games as an example:
Unholy Disaster: 8.8k sales JP, 1k sales EN. That's a positive reaction though sadly not common place.

Unholy Torture (even taking into account it came out during holiday season): 3.5k sales JP, 290 EN.

Barrage actually did really good: 3.6k JP, 1.9k EN. And this is more likely to gameplay appealing more to western audience then having a ENG translation.

Pirating because of Language barrier does have some reasoning but it's mostly just used as an excuse. A lot more westerns just don't want to pay for porn, it's simple as that.
If you want a clear distinction of JP vs West buying habits, a quick look at the all time rankings will give you the best picture.
The top 3 most download games in Eng DLsite (one not even having a Eng translation) combined doesn't even reach a third of the number 1 game on JP. (Seriously, no one will ever remove Sylvie from her throne.)

A lot of that is problems with DLsite itself instead of the game, plus the fact that myself personally wouldnt play any of those games even with how messed up my fetishes are. However when a game like Melty's Quest hits Steam oh boy I am all over that.
Plus any game by the dev that does False Myth, those games make me throw down money fast.

Has anyone else had the game freeze during the cutscene in the UFO? Specifically, after touching the crystal and being captured.

A week later, but I figured it. The game didn't freeze, it just wanted me to move around with the arrow keys.
Which (oc) meant that no matter how much I hammered the OK or Cancel buttons nothing was going to happen until I actually walked to a place where things would happen.

Ain't to proud of myself, but that was the solution if any other dumbass got themselves stuck at that spot.

New update is done, adds 2 new dungeons, 3 new grab animations (per sibling), 1 new npc (with 2 scenes), 1 new full screen animation, a zoom function in the gallery, 10 new weapons, 2 new traps, 4 new scrolls, 3 new rings and a slew of balance changes. More details are on the dev's ci-en.

It's been submitted to dlsite, should be live in a day or two.

Update is out! I'll leave it to yourselves to grab it.

New content:
2 new ares - another dungeon and an endless mode gauntlet. All the other new content can be found in the new dungeon. The gauntlet is an unmarked location on the map, in between town, the pyramid and the cove.
1 new npc - talking to them starts a quest chain that unlocks the new dungeon as well as returning to it two more times for different rewards each time. They also go with you during the quest!
3 new enemies - all in the new dungeon. We have goblins (their grab stacks up to 2), spellbound tomes and arachne.
3 new h-scenes - 2 captured scenes with the new npc and one full-screen event with the twins involving a very powerful aphrodesiac (I think, don't speak japanese)
a whole bunch of new weapons, gear and traps, most of which I haven't found yet

There are also a ton of new balance changes, like the summoned ghosties trap being nerfed significantly so it doesn't just auto-win the game for you.

All told great update, lots of content and lots more stuff to mess around with. Gallery save attached, but I recommend going through yourself first.

Okay, so, I've gotten the new NPC to the throne room in the castle, I've talked to the original blond NPC so now she follows me around in the castle, talked to her again and she gave me something (I think), I've talked to everyone in town, talked to the parents, and I'm pretty sure I've gone everywhere in the castle; I now have no idea how to proceed. Think I need to do something to open the third campfire in the castle? No clue what that could be. The quest NPC hasn't shown up again, either, so maybe I need to do something about that somehow?

The shortest version of the new dungeon's story is that you're helping the new npc, a treasure hunter, satisfy their greed 3 times. The first time you go with them, the second time they go missing so you and the elf npc from previously go looking for them, the third time you go looking for them on your own.

iirc you find your mission objectives in the
top left corner of the map the first time, then on your second trip a new path opens up that leads to the bottom left corner of the map, then on your third and final trip you have to take a newly opened roundabout path that leads from the middle right, all the way down to the bottom right, then over one more to the far right and up for about 5 rooms to the top right-most corner

Finding the map helps a lot. It's in the middle left, on a balcony.

Yep, should have mentioned I'd already found the map. Either way, figured it out, hadn't realized there's a hidden corridor on the right side of the structure covering the third campfire in the bottom left. Was able to work out where to go from there. Thanks for your help.

First post! Has there always been a full nude version of most of the animations or did it just get added?

Full nude version of the sprites are in a separate folder in the game files, if you want to use them you need to copy, paste & overwrite. Recommend making a backup first.

They were added several versions ago, but they weren't in the initial release.

How do you open the ghostly chests? I assume I need a specific ring or something.

Well in the absence of a translation, I feel a guide would be in order. Here's a few things I discovered to help.

-The barbed wire trap is honestly amazing when used against hordes. Place a few stacked on a corridor and watch enemy bounce on it helplessly while you shoot.
-I have found two health extensions so far : one in the cave and one in the pyramid.
-Speaking of the pyramid : a side path opens after you finish it for the first time. Going at the end of it allows you to free the elf character that helped you during the first run through.
