Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game
Ok, lets have a general overview than.
---
Duelists: The setup is solid with Kurisa, Lucielle, Imeria and Ricca being the stars. The last one fills a very different role than other three, but is an awesome unit, that helps you from the moment you get her and translates to late game very well with her true damage (as a ranged support, not a dueler). Roana is an extremely useful unit due to her AW ability (status resistance) and allows you to laugh in the face of those pesky zombie dragons everyone else struggles with.
Other positions I would value less. Karma, who started as a god-tier unit, slowly rotated out for me. She is still nice, and her AW is useful. However, as power creep progresses, more and more often you encounter opponents that you can't kill before her skill runs out, making her much less valuable. Same problem about the angel - they make nice lightning rods, but you don't need that with Kurissa in your team. You have better units to kill swarms, and if you can't kill an opponent before time runs out, she fails as a dueler. Angel also needs good stats and you have access only to a gold one. Claudia is a useful princess, but she is still one of the weaker ones in the game. Especially since you have access to premium princesses.
---
Healers: Good list, though if you get access to Liana, you should definitely replace one of the priests. The stars here are Sedis (due to being the highest stats healer) and Sera (sue to the fact, that priest-warriors are a fundamentally broken class that allows you to work around one of the main limitations of missions).
---
Physical rear: Spica is the number 1 archer in this game (especially if you don't have Nanally its no contest). She alone fulfills 80% of your need for ranged physical damage. Bashira will do good as a secondary archer, though I am having very good results with the not-so-liked Rita. A vampire hunter is there for bonus damage to undead and combo with dancer. Maurette for me started as a gold farmer, but she is actually very useful with her skill AW. I never found a use for rangers and Monica is good only for increased drop rate of gems and minigun combo. Overall, you will usually use only 2-3 units from the list and rest will play a very niche role.
---
Magical rear: Witches are a peculiar class, where you usually want only 1 but sometimes need 4. Adelle and Bellinda will make a solid core and you can sometimes supplement them with gold/silver witches. Dark priest is a class that in theory I find very interesting and I also liked her storyline. In practice however, her usefulness is hard to tell until she gets AW. Shiho is a very powerful shaman, but I think you are better off using Kagura over her, due to the bonus damage for all your melee.
One thing that is missing on this list is a Necromancer. It might be hard to obtain one in English version if they opt to censor out Memento. However token generation is the most reliable way to deal with golems and you will have hard time finding a strategy for certain maps without one. The fact that they double-up as magic damage dealers is only an added bonus.
---
AoE rear: Again a tier where you usually want just 1 char but sometimes need 4. I would go for 1 solid 'core' AoE dd and have others at medium levels, for when you need them. We have a surplus of good bishops available: Noel for an awesome gold increase passive, Patra(premium) for gold farming, Eterna for black tier stats and Paula. This makes it hard for mages to find their spot, especially if they don't have an offensive ability, like Odette. I have an AW70 Janna, but ever since Maurtette skill AW I never find a need for a cannon user. Sorano is my favorite unit in game, but timing on some missions make her underperform. That makes her a poor candidate for your main AoE DD,. True damage in large AoE however is amazing.
As mentioned above, you want to have Noel for her AW passive (unless she is also censored?). Since you always want to have Noel in your party (minus subjugation missions) you want to raise her to be actually useful. After that you have room for maybe one more core AoE - likely Eterna or the premium mage. Others will play secondary role.
You have listed priest-warrior in the 'healer' category, so I will mention mage armor here. While you list mage armor in 'tank' category and they indeed are tanky, their main role is that of magical AoE damage dealer. Now, so far I was able to get by without a leveled mage armor. I see a lot of strategies using them however, and often I wish she was already usable. For a general player, I think it would be a worthwhile to obtain a mage armor.
---------
Assist: Late game Saki is great. Good damage, high aspd, AoE and assassination chance. Hores for magical ranged damage and Ricca for ranged true damage is likely all you need. Maybe one day there will be a map where you want the bow rider or the sailor, but same thing can be said about any unit.
--------
Anti-rush: I don't think that this number of rogues will ever be needed. Soldiers and Archers also help with rushes. It is theoretically possible to construct a map that will require several very cheap units deployed in different parts of map but I have not seen anything like that yet. When it comes you will likely be able to get away with using silvers. I would keep only one rogue - Betty, since she farms gold. Maybe the monk for some sort of aoe clear.
Note, that during early rushes valkyries and pegasus riders are useful, as they not only kill units, but also provide you with sortie.
-----
Tanks: You definitely want one strong heavy armor, and Bernice is a perfect candidate. Anya is an awesome unit both for her tanking and her damage. Between those two, your soldiers, priest warrior and mage armor you are unlikely to find a need for another tank. Maybe a DK for the high magic def and smaller block, which you sometimes want.

Must get back to work, maybe I will finish the discussion later.

Petite - thanks for Christmas gifts. Yay !
Anything about the planned list. For example the 'physical range' group was mentioned a few time to lack hard damage and was more multiple shots. due to that I ended up dropping my third planned Archer(Rita) to run a second pirate. Though now that I look at Maurette's art again... So I'll just place Beatorika back there.
