Is there a decent tutorial on how to get this to work? I keep getting hung up on parts of the buying process.

I have to say, this game is pretty entertaining as a story. Although all the missed scenes and general lack of handholding can make it hard for people to play through, I think it's a part of the charm.

While I'm busy translating it from the previous links, on shear principle I haven't started playing it yet as I'm waiting until I can buy properly.
Finished another batch of skills, items, and armors. So many yet to go.

Time for a productive question!
Does anybody know all of the non-story related spawn points for the merchant? I only know the one by the underground beach, where you have to lose to get him to spawn.

Ahriman actually used some of my suggestions in the game; it's kind of like a shout out or something!

I few months ago we were going back and forth sharing different pixiv art and whatnot and I came up with this little scenario where the heroines are defeated and trained and become "animals" (not literal animals but like cat ears, etc) and sent him some artwork to illustrate what I meant. I said something along the lines of "once the heroines are defeated they become lowly servants, pets for their new masters." And he actually put a full scene dedicated to that idea! The scene I'm referring to is the bad ending for losing to Prince Black (the masked man). I didn't think he would actually use my suggestion but I'm really glad he did. I love the animal ears/tails stuff, it's pretty sexy.

Here's the art I sent him so you can see some of the reference material and make some comparisons:

Here's the original message for the scenario I came up with. It was basically an idea I had for Boris (the merchant in this game) to betray Asagi and Whip and attack them. If he won the fight he would then train them as sex slaves: (English version)

"...Her (Asagi) mistake of trusting Boris would become the down fall of her and all of her friends! Because it is a big turning point of the plot, it makes sense for the consequences to be huge! If Boris is successful, he will train them to the point where they will not be able to be normal women.

Asagi found her true role in life...

If you're willing to make a list of your questions like these, I'd be more than happy to get them to Ahriman so that you get the most accurate answer. Crest of Cuckold does sound about right. But I'll ask to be certain, I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

It coming along...slowly. More skills than I thought. 330 or so entries (minus a few empty spaces). Only 19 of those done. (At least 3 lines per skill to translate.)
102 Items (minus empty spaces) and I have 13 of those complete (Just the name and descriptor to translate there).
I think I have all the weapons used in game done. I won't know until I do testing.
44/77 Armors done.
States... I have a good number of names done but given you don't see those I wouldn't call any of the states complete. Need to do the state enter, leave, continue, etc dialogues.

There is a lot of work to do yet. Hopefully I can go all out this weekend between my cell culture experiments.

Please take all the time you need! I'm just super psyched someone is already working on translating this. I can afford to wait a bit more to play this if I can have a better understanding of the game. Also, will probably wait to buy it from English DLsite at this point, so between that and waiting for bug fixing, it's all gravy.

That'd be great to get the meanings right from the source.
I've been copying the text I'm translating over to text files with the original text and translated text. Those are attached if anyone wants to inspect the accuracy of my work so far. I am using machine translators and common sense which gets 99% of the way with everything but muffled dialogue.

I think the single most useful thing though would be knowing exactly which rvdata2 files are changed with updates. Copy pasting is fairly easy but time consuming and that's time I could spend translating additional items or story.
So knowing which files I can directly overwrite onto new versions and which have to be manually copy pasted in RPGMaker would be a huge time saver.

Reads out as Emblem/crest of Kukkoro, kukkoro being the name of a person/figure I guess, didn't play the game yet, quick suggestion, it helps alot understanding items stuff in context, maybe you should playtest the game, with your translations running? Also tells you if the code got fumbled up by the modifications, in case you crash while playtesting!

Also Kokoro was a historical figure in Japan history/stories, but kokoro can also mean mind/thoughts, so I guess there is different ways to translate it, as I said, I would highly suggest playing the game before you definetly name stuff.(well you can always modify stuff later, I think I just ran through more than 5 polishes with my last translated h-scene, but not making it as exact as possible on the first run, that creates an ever increasing workload!)

クッ alone, can also mean cookie
クッコロ means Kukkoro = name/figure though!

On a side note: how are you translating encoding the game? Since u seem to have problems with it! ytinasni look him up on the forum, (//if u check his profile there should be a download link for his tool,/) he wrote a tool for rpgmaker games to make encryption of the decrypted stuff in the data folder easier. After translating items, stuff, dialogue boxes it basically just takes one click on his convenient.exe file to encrypt the game with your newly added translations.

On second notice, the title Defender of public morals: Swordswoman Asagi sounds a bit edgy, could it maybe be, Defender of morals/virtue : fighter/swordswoman/samurai/blademaster asagi?

On a third notice, emblem or crest of cuckold reads strange, shouldn't it be something like proof of cuckold, if it was about cuckolding? Well if you want to find a proper solution, I realy suggest playing the game and putting it into context! Or maybe put it like Emblem of the Deceiver? So many possiblities, hehe...
