Eh, it turns out I'm not good at dating.

I don't like putting on fake personalities, is it bad that I don't change between relationships and out of them? Could be why so many people imagine me as detached.
I thought a guy who focused on romance was commendable

I don't feel bad about it, I just wish people weren't such liars, pretending to be mature and saying what they want, when it's not. I mean hey, I don't mind being used at all (in some definitions of that word, I'll like it) so if you take me for a run, I could care less. The only thing I'm upset about is a loss of time at most.

I found someone I thought I could live forever with, but since that didn't work out, I'm looking for someone that i can live forever with, fall in love as the marriage whatever progresses, someone who will bring a great set of genes in for my kids, and someone who is a good lay.

Love before marriage doesn't really concern me anymore.

Sounds like you're in search of the mythical "Perfect Man."

I want to suggest the sperm bank because I highly doubt you'll ever find a male capable of such perfection (it is well-known that only people that possess a clitoris may possess such a trait), but that seems really mean and/or rude.

Perfection? Nah. Just someone I can live with. If I wanted perfection I would have said so. I just want someone that's going to DO something with their lives instead of settling with mediocrity. And as long as I enjoy the sex and the look, and they take care of our children and love them... I could live with that.
