Put it this way:
Daggers = 2 strikes per attack
Cats = High speed
If a normal speed person fights a high speed person the 'turn' order would go
Cat > Cat > Norm > Cat > Cat > Norm
Now, 2 x 2 = 4 and with high speed she has higher chance of dodge.
Therefore out comes would usually end up like so:
4 attacks no damage
But if a long sword/short sword
Long sword would get in way of dodge, and it would be heavy, giving her less chance of attack and long swords are usually for defensive people, and considering that she's probably not gonna be standing there blocking every attack and dodge, it wouldn't match her.
Shortswords:
Shortswords in my own words are for rangers. They are mainly for defending once again, but the character themselves don't need to be defendsive to use them. Shortswords are best if the characters are already weaken, or if the characters are fast. But Daggers are faster, and if we want to use Cassy's speed to her best advantage, the faster and easier the weapons she uses are, the more strikes she can do, and lets face it.

Spent 85 Copper pieces. (40 For two Daggers Copper and 30 For shortsword Copper, and 15 for leather skirt....)
As Cassy picked up her new purchases. "Hmmm, shopkeep do you want my rusty daggers?" asks Cassy. Shopkeep responds "No kitty we do not, we have enough decayed crap as it is." Cassy glares at the shopkeep and then twirls around and hits him with her tail as she leaves the shop. "Ungrateful cat!" the shopkeep shouted at Cassy. Cassy ignored him and went around the entrance, and put on her new skirt and put her two new daggers by her decayed ones and put the short sword to her right hip.
Cassy wonders what to do now *maybe I should check the board." As Cassy went back to the board she noted it was now noon and a grumbling in her tummy told her she was hungry. She also felt the need of nature upon her. Cassy sighed and promised herself some food after checking. The board was missing the rat extermination quest and the recruit, the goblin one had a fulfilled red mark upon it. There was still the bodyguard quest and other quests. One noted her eye since it was from a group of adventurers who were planning to go into a swamp and kill some wizard. There was a promised share of loot and anything else. *Hmmm* Cassy thought.
Hungry and needs to go to bathroom, also weighed down by new equipment.

Cassy heads over to the inn and buys some food.5 copper loss.The Food is plain fare but filling, the cook leered at her cleavage. Cassy just ignored it and went over to a table unoccupied by anybody else and sat down to eat. Cassy was half-way through the meal before some of the males in the inn sauntered over to her and ask "How much?"
Cassy replied with a frost covered edge in her voice "What do you mean?" The 3 males leered to each other and being slightly drunk sneered to her "We want you in our rooms tonight." Cassy Vehemently replies "No, go away!"
Apparently from their faces, Cassy concluded that they weren't going to leave her alone, so she pulled out her copper shortsword and leveled it to their crotches. "Leave me now, or lose your priceless possession" Cassy stated. The 3 men stared and quickly backed off. Cassy was getting a glare from the innkeeper now, and thought to herself *I need to leave, before I am veritably forced out.* Cassy finshed her plain meal and made way to door and yonder to the inn's outhouses. Looking in all directions Cassy went inside and pulled down her pants and panties and then took a piss. *Hmmm that skirt was worth the purchase* Cassy thought to herself since her skirt was covering an exposed part of her sacred area. She then pulled up her panties and pants.
Cassy then went back to the board, and seeing the same quests there before. (15 minutes top, have passed, quick meal due to the men.) *Which one?* thought Cassy.
Filled and relieved of pee.

Cassy, feeling the need for some serious money, decided to take the adventurer's group request. Cassy looked at the directions and stared in disbelief. Meet in the Vodge's Inn during the afternoon. Cassy groaned since Vodge's inn was in a area where all the nobility resided. Cassy shivered, because some nobles kidnapped woman and forcefully made them their mistresses.
Cassy decided, *If their in a place that fancy then they must have some serious loot.* So, Cassy went to the inn. As Cassy walked into the area, some of the male nobles gave her body and cleavage appreciative gazes and speculation. Cassy stiffened and continued on. She soon arrived at the inn. At the inn Cassy found the group she believed she was looking for.

Cassy observed them. All of them were human of the 5 people in the group. One was female, and she was in white robes that don't ever seem to stain. Cassy noted with her eye that the female had 30D cup breasts. She also seemed protected by two burly men with two great axes. The two men were apparently twins and had same eye color and hair color. Their eyes and hair color were both the same, brown. Cassy couldn't tell the woman's hair color nor her eye color. The last two were both thin and tall. One had a bow and arrows, while the other was in a robe with a giant staff, with blades sprouting from the top. They also seem to be enjoying a late luncheon. The food smelled deliciously as it wafted to Cassy's cat nose.
