RPG RPG Maker [ Cauldron ] Fuuin no Mori (Forest of Lewdseal) RE167447 RJ167447

Re: Seal of the Forest

So I beat the mines and got some stone tablet I think. After that I went back to the witches hut and got a scene with her. No idea what to do after that. There's some stones I can't move/break somewhere too.

Anyone got beyond that?

EDIT: Ok found some hidden way to a house on the path to the mines. There's some rooster in one of the dead ends, a short, small corridor that leads to the house near the rooster.

Got another stone tablet from that house. Went to witches house, nothing new, went north to the rocks that block a path, checked them, went back to witches house, she's in bath, events, got paper talisman. Removed the rock obstacles with paper slip?

Thank you for updating your post, I was also stuck at that place.

The art of this game is really gorgeous.

Re: Seal of the Forest

Well as i said earlyer there was no loli tag, just one dude said, looks like a loli - and there is already link in first page, if some people would read at least first page of this thread (there are only two) they would already found it...

Ah you are right. My mistake.

Re: Seal of the Forest

The game doesn't look necessarily loli to me. I won't delete the link, but if anybody is feeling paranoid, I can enforce it if you'd like.

Re: Seal of the Forest

Ok, I've just finished the game.
I gotta say... I hope this was just an attempt of the author to start his way into making h games, because the game could have had so much content. There were so many opportunities for an h scene, I can't even...
All in all I give this game a 6 and hope the author makes another game with a bit more love lol

Re: Seal of the Forest

Well... so far I got 2 items from the scavenger hunt and yeah about to give up because of the retarded encounter rate -.-
Anyway... one item is a butterfly near the little cottage found by following a hidden path with a rooster at the end. The other item is a cow horn, which you can on the abandoned village (where you fought the monster on the chapel)
If anyone finds anything else, please do share... I think I've searched everything twice now and believe me that's a lot...

Edit* Yey... I found the 3rd item from the list. It's blood and you get it on the tower where the blue haired girl was rescued from.
Now I only need to find the 4th item, which is human sperm... right... so I haven't found a living soul on this game (that isn't a monster ofc) and haven't seen anything whitish around so I'm a bit lost here...

Edit** Haaaa yes, I'm getting so good at finding stuff on RPGs lool.
Sooo.. the logic was simple, if you can't find a living soul and there's no white smudges, that could relate to sperm, around the maps. The best bet would simply to check every porn magazine scattered around.
Luckilly, I was near the village, so that was the 1st place I checked and voilá, you get a sperm stained magazine lol...

Sorry, what village: the village with chapel or the ruined one?

Re: Seal of the Forest

Oh, I recognize the artist

Cauldron has a lot of great tentacle art (particularly in their original CG gallery series Inchuu Emaki), you can take a look at the if its just the art you admire.

Re: Seal of the Forest

I hate to spoil the party but I'm pretty sure that blue haired girl in the screenshots is a loli.

Funny you say that. small breasts in the rape pic, but when you see her clothed, you can see her breasts pushing out the fabric of that loose fitting clothing.

All in all, I don't think she's loli.

Re: Seal of the Forest

I can't read moonrunes, so I wouldn't know, but you can tell it's actual kiddie stuff and not just an artistic fluke if it actually gets mentioned in-game. If someone in the story says the character porning it up looks like or is a child, then that's a red flag, even if the dumbass "I'm ACTUALLY a 700 old demon!" excuse gets rolled out in response.

Re: Seal of the Forest

Superb art quality, but rather tedious and lacking overall game design. : /

Absurd encounter rates, and battles lacking any real h-game mechanics spare the clothing damage thing. And to call it a proper clothing damage system is a bit of a stretch, given how it's simply linked directly to HP, and the way in later battles that you flip-flop from "fully clothed" to nude and back again almost every other turn. Kinda loses the fun of it when the clothes are just a glorified HP meter.

I also noticed the oddity of how the escape option during battles was effective 100% of the time. Which whilst great for speeding travel up by avoiding having a battle every 10 steps, kind of only highlighted how the encounters serve essentially no purpose other than show off the art, and then to grind xp enough to allow you defeat the boss. Too much artificial padding, basically. The game could have had a third of the encounters, and tripled the XP, and the end result would have been exactly the same spare without having got so fed up of fighting them.

If this guy teamed up with a partner who could implement a bit more depth and mechanical design to a future game, whilst the SoF author continued to focus on artwork, that would be a great combination.

As is, he's relied almost entirely on his art skills to carry the game, and it's not enough.

Re: Seal of the Forest

Not everyone can make a good RPGmaker game, sadly. At least the ability resource costs are well-priced.

Re: Seal of the Forest

The encounter rate in this game makes it rather painful to finish.
