Most likely it's not going to fix the issue (but it's still a standard procedure with JP games so hey, not going to hurt trying :p).
There is a problem with intel and Nvidia 30 series GPUs, causing GH1 to crash or have a black screen. It was fixed in 1.24 that wasn't posted so far by anyone.
I'll try to upload it soon for others :)
