Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

I been thinkin about it, but I'm at a loss for a character. I like to take an aspect of myself and supersize it, then minimize its counterpart. Caitlin is mental>physical, Jessica is dexterity>strength, etc... And I seem to have run out of ideas. I also hate to use the same character twice, only did it with Jess because she was a DnD character to begin with, and I gave ronny three choices, he picked that one to help balance the group.

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Hmph. I use the same character all the time, I just modify him.

By the way, am I supposed to post now?

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Don't worry. I'll send you a PM when it's the right time.

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Sorry about inactivity. Horribly sick and such and having a semi-hard to pulling myself onto a computer to post. 101 fever yesterday an- I'll just stop ranting.... I'll get around to a post now.

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Alright, you got me, I'm in:

Weapons:Shimmering blue blades of energy, focused from her mind as an extension of her willpower. She can create almost any blade she can think of, but usually settles on a double-bladed sword as tall as she is. Any weapons she creates last as long as she can focus on them, generally only two or three in combat.
She has a limited array of mental powers as well, a small amount of telekinesis, some shielding, but her most important is a moderate amount of precognition, which is what allows her to dodge and deflect most attacks, she knows where they are going to be before they have even started.

Activity:several times a weekday, once or twice a weekend day, rearely if ever a holiday

Character Description: Around seven feet tall and very lithe, with pale skin, raven black hair, and bright blue eyes. She wears skintight leather armour built for mobility and flexibility over defense, she trusts her reflexes and training to deflect or avoid attacks.

Special Ability: Mental shockwave, indisciminately pushing everything out of a 100 foot radius around her with such force it tends to arrive outside the radius in pieces, shredded by the sudden pressure. This is entirely rooted as a self defense mechanism within her subconscience, and while she can hold it back somewhat, she has essentially no control over it. It also mentally takes her past her limit, making her pass out from the strain almost immediately and having her wake up with a headache that impeeds her concentration for up to an hour afterwards.

There we go, I figure you guys/gals can find me in a cell as well

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

I would say go ahead and post in now Crossgrave. Shrike, I will try to work another cell arrangement out for finding you in the Hive as well when I have a moment.

Burrito has asked me to take over for now while he can't, so I hope I can run this in a way he would approve of.

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

If you want, Shrike's human (near as I can tell) Copper might be able to scent her out amid the bots. Might either require me to abandon Tsuki for a moment or to at least radio you guys that there's something else to see. Course, senses might not be *that* good (unless she's bleeding *grins*)

already doing my initial write-up, so no worries, and speaking of your unique abilities, you wouldn't happen to be Tzimisce would you ;)

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Gangrel, actually, but I kinda caught the Viscisitude and decided to make the most out of it. *grins*

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Gonna be away tomorrow. I leave my RP in the capable hands of my second in command, Siphon. I'm confident he can perform up to the job

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Most likely will be on vacation for a few days. Siphon's in charge til then.

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Edited more into my last post, finally figured out how to word it :)

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Sorry for the double post, buts its been two days, so meh. Anyway, I have actually hit a bit of a crunch time at job, and also need to be up fairly early tomorrow, so I will make a token appearance once I get home, and that's about it for the next 12-20 hours. Go ahead and assume that I'll create doorways for us, though her headache come back since the mental duel so she gonna be slow on the uptake if something happens. I'll make small posts if I can manage it, but who knows :)

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

So I was wondering.. *shifty eyes*.. if there was another space here? Since a lot of the people I really, really respect are chilling here, and it looks fun.. so.. pretty please?

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

What Siphon said. I'd LOVE to say yes, but I can't until I see a character.

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

PUMPKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Defend ULMF! (Sign-up and OOC)

Name : Pale

Weapons/Abilities: Not much of a melee fighter, Pale carries only a simple dagger for close quarters. However, her true skills lie in the manipulation of what is known as mana. An energy that flows through the whole universe, and through every being, and manipulateable by the lucky few. By influencing how the energy moves through her, she can change it into different shapes, each of which has a different effect, through an effort of willpower, and physical struggle. Mana wants to take the path of least resistance, so she has to force it through her constructs. Each shape has to be learned off by heart, but simple ones can be made up on the spot - however, these are more draining than most.
The effects of this magic vary, from simple elemental direction and control, to spells that strike at the very mind of the target, or grant effects to the caster, such as invisibility. Casting manifests through physical movements - moving the hands, and faint glimpses of light can often be seen before a powerful spellcaster. The more complex the spell, the more draining, and the longer it takes to cast.
Her magical abilities also grant her an ability to "see" magic, enabling her to effectively detect living creatures, and hostile magic users, or magical traps.
Activity: Every day.
Character Description: Pale stands at an impressive 5"10, silver hair falling just past her shoulders denying her youthful appearance. She was given the name because of her dress sense, her hair, her eyes.. in fact, everything about her seems to fit the sense of "Pale". Neither white, nor black, but in between. The loose-fitting robes she wears, the comfortable, quiet shoes. Her eyes, like sea-mist, and, perhaps most obvious, the wings that extend to either side of her back like tendrils of close-clinging smoke. An athletic figure is obvious, but hidden by her robes, which also give no hint as to her more.. feminine features. Some might call her pretty, though, others, haughty, with high cheekbones, and a fine-cut nose.
Special ability: Dawnthief. The most powerful spell ever created, that no one has ever dared to cast. Named for it's rumoured potential to steal the sun from the Heavens, and plunge the Earth into the eternal night, it stands as a grim last resort. Holding the spell in check is possible, and Pale has long practiced a failsafe technique. It requires iron concentration, and by designing a special deadman's switch into the construct, an idea she herself came up with, if her concentration is broken, instead of Dawnthief exceeding the boundaries set upon it, and raining destruction on the world, the mana construct collapses in on itself harmlessly.
The spell itself is said to manifest as a field of pure, absolute darkness, that devours all in it's path, leaving nothing in it's wake.

Not TOO overpowered, I hope.. we didn't have a Mage, so.. :p

EDIT: And wow, Copper.. pleased to see me much? I was thinking of bringing in my delicious Alazais.. then figured she'd be way too overpowered, AND she and Copper... probably wouldn't get on.
