How do i resist against the 4 phase boss after she grapples me? I don't see other choice then going into the boss fight again, i got the weapon but it seems to much time till it activates.

You mean when you have to charge the cannon against her? Once she kisses you, you can struggle from her grasp like with any other grapple move and simply fire the cannon. If you mean before charging the cannon in the normal battle, use wind magic to break free, she is too slimey to use your hands to break free.

How do you unlock hell break spell? I am at the final boss and it is still "premise unknown". What did I miss?

Finally finished my True Mercy run, only to find out later the game was bugged and it would've been much easier if I just updated... Oh well, at least I can say it was a challenge.
With all that said and done, would anybody be willing to share a Genocide file? I'm not necessarily looking for a full save file, but I want to fight at the very least the final boss, and I don't really want to go through the entire game once more, I've had enough RNG fuckery for an entire life I think.
I'll share my True Mercy save file as well. I don't seem to have a 100%, probably because you need some scenes from the Genocide route as well, but every girl is unlocked and with maxed out friendship, so all their scenes can be easily viewed and can be refought in the pink bed.

So i finally started playing, so far i really loved the parasiting harpy kinda sad her whole lore its "hey she its a "dumb" bird even dumber than barguest but she loves you becouse bird stuff so here she its so enjoy her, no complex quest to unlock her" anyway wasnt expecting venom to be in game, good stuff.

also i got MC SECRET PORN TAPE from oni and.....oh....ohh.....its REALLY SPICY.

So about to finish the game i think, kinda sad theres only just 2 more girls for pacifist counting the harpy.

You can get True Mercy on NG+
I doubt it's possible to get it on your first playthrough.

It is possible, if you think outside the box, a la Undertale, and max every girl's affection before the end, excluding the Kitsune.

To get Mukuro, you need to defeat her, then find the Human key in the secret passage and the memento behind the temple. Afterwards, the next time you are in hell, visit the basement and play the Abyss momento. Once this is done, save, then go back to the main menu and replay chapter 2-2
To get Titanoboa, you need, before ending the chapter, to read the Oni's final message, then quit the game, load an earlier save, and find her, and buy her secret weapon. Then, save and replay chapter 3-3.

Otherwise, I maxed each girl's friendship as soon as possible. This is what probably barred me from seeing some of the scenes; however, the monster girls helped a lot and made things much easier, especially in chapter 3. Befriending Haru and Liz chases away most of the mermaids, befriending Empuse and Lampas make the cavern section of 3-2 an almost cakewalk.

Chapter 1-1 is a good place to farm magic rocks and monster meats, and spend time until you can offer another present or get milked

I will backup my public file, then play again in normal, and in a "classic" run, and see if I can get some scenes.

If it is the same as Undertale, there is a point where you can stop, before committing to genocide ending.

Edit: There's another update up on DLSite. There is the "additional content" tag, so there may be new things, alongside bug fixes.
Edit 2: It looks like true mercy also locks your alignement. So I do not think I will be able to see the remaining 10%, unless I wipe out my public file. I understand the logic, but it makes my inner completionist cry ^^

I just finished the game, with the "mercy ending". It was very enjoyable, especially the battle system, and the puzzles with the file manipulation. There is a big Undertale influence, and some scenes are clearly influenced by it. I really liked the final "mail" twist.
I keep my fingers crossed for a sequel, which seems to be hinted by the ending, and an official translation. Lvl1VillagerA's translation helped a lot, but the scenes lose their flavor with the automatic translation. ^^

I have a few questions, for the people who 100%'d it:
* Four crystals appear in the "gallery" room, after I completed the game, but they do not seem to have any effect. What are their use?
* I have completed the compendium at 91%, and it seems that I am missing some pictures. Does the Final Chapter boss have pictures, or did I miss some optional scenes, or are there some scenes blocked behind a "genocide" or a "normal" route?
* Is there a "pink bed" in chapter 3?

〔A.〕It is a crystal that will fight with devils to make it appear as an extra edition. It will not go soon, but it will be implemented as soon as it is completed.

〔A.〕There is no item exclusively for genocide route in that book.
Including the three items that can be acquired with the True Marcy route, it is possible to open up to 94% in total at this stage.

I can confirm that the bug about you getting Neutral End A instead of the True End is now fixed. I was able to get the True Ending after beating the boss again, which I failed before.

Btw, I like the ending, really nice (obviously not spoiling it). But it seems it's geared towards a sequel. Is there any plans for one?

Oh wow. Looking forward for the continuation of the SHRIFT series. Keep this good work up, I realy enjoyed this game. It has it's own charm with an unique art style. Very excited to enjoy the story with an official english translation in the future.

If that's the case and there is no way to review or refight old monsters, then I guess I would have to look for a save file that is right before the final boss. I'm not interested much in watching the Genocide end because I'm too much of a moralist, but I would really like to fight the Oni.
So if anybody has a save file right before her fight, or even just before the Kitsune fight, I would love them forever.

Here's an archive of my saves. There is the public file and, normally, a game clear save. Unfortunately, I do not think I kept a save before the Kitsune fight, but if you start a new game +, the friendships will allow you to breeze through 4-2 quickly.
I have also unlocked most loss scenes (only missing Mother Rabbit and Mukuro), and got everyone's bronze boxes, for those who want a near-100% file.

Finished the true mercy route. Most of my frustration in the [x] touch fluffy tail fight was my own fault, thanks to not realising how the ultimate spells were unlocked and forgetting about using wind magic as an escape option. Ended with 94% of scenes and haven't got the heart to do the genocide route, so I guess I'm done. Very impressed by the game overall and will definitely pick up any future releases.

One thing that still bugs me - what does the charred salamander do? From reading the description I assumed it reset the points you'd put into physical boosts (e.g. Vitality Up) in the capsule, but whenever I used it it just dropped my HP/MP to near zero and did nothing else. When I checked the capsule afterwards I still had all my points fixed into Vitality Up and Agility Up.

Also most importantly of all, I married Mukuro.

Are you on mercy route? If so you should be able to beat it fairly easily with guns, that's what I did anyways.
