did not know about the wind magic for when she flying i always did the evasion move that cost 15 that makes all her attack miss do that for 2 turns and she show up again
Hey all, loving the game so far. So I'm in Archeny's spider lair and I just found the Diamond and discovered I can craft an Engagement Ring with it and a Silver Ring. Unfortunately, I sold the Silver Ring a while back because I got better equipment and didn't know it'd be useful later on. I went back to 1-1 to try to get another but I can't. Is there any way to find/buy another Silver Ring in the game or did I just inadvertently screw myself over? Can you marry without an Engagement Ring?
Also, is there any way to find/farm the gems without having to buy a crap ton of Magic Rocks? I'd love to upgrade the sword. For example, I went back to 1-2 to get Emeralds from Lampas but I couldn't find any (aside from the ones in the timed room, but I can't fight those). I'd like to upgrade the sword, but I don't want to endlessly grind Magic Rocks either.
There's only 1 Silver Ring in the game, unfortunately. The only way you can get another is in NG+, or the vending machine in Post-Game which has all the missible items from the Chapters.
For the gems, there's not really any way other then farming them during the regular game. In Post-Game: Befriending Hyakki will give you ten of each jewel, if I remember correctly.
Thank you for the swift reply. That's unfortunate about the ring. In the Post-Game, can I buy another ring even though I sold the first one? I really don't want to start another play through (12 hours in rn). And as for the gems, do they have to be farmed while playing their respective chapter the first time around? You can't replay a chapter to farm gems? Thanks for the help!
Yes to the first, and NG+ is *very* fast depending on what you did the first time around (only about an hour or two to get back to 4-2, roughly). For the gems, all chests can only be opened once, and only refill on NG+. Some of the enemies drop gems/stones, but I don't know which ones drop which.
That's extremely helpful, thank you very much! If I can't make the sword until the Post-Game then that's fine. Is the NG+ just bosses/events then? Also, does NG+ "tie in" to your original play through? As in, you'll have the same items, weapons, friendship levels, etc.?
NG+ keeps all friendship levels from your original playthrough, making attempting the True Mercy Ending much easier if you missed it the first time around. It's been a while, but I think you lose all weapons and items. This is really only a minor inconvenience, because in exchange you get access to the NG+ shop, which contains a bunch of really powerful items, especially the almighty Infinite Magnum, which is incredibly powerful and helpful for the EX Worlds, making it definitely worthwhile to do.
Uhh has anyone talked about this yet? It's untranslated so I don't know exactly what's going on, but what's with the Monster Girl Quest logo at the end? Are they doing a crossover for EX4? I mean that's amazing if that's the case, cause it's both my favorite H-games.
I wouldn't really think too much into the possibilities and expect something grandiose, the crossover is happening with SHRIFT's game engine so it's quite likely SHRIFT's dev is doing all the work. MGQ doesn't really have a dedicated artist it's a massive assortment of artists, and to that end I imagine SHRIFT will be doing the art for any characters from MGQ. Additionally, Desu the creator of Monster and Girls is also partaking here, and he does sprite H, so it's unlikely we'll see his artwork in here either. It's quite likely the story and characters are all still going to be very close to SHRIFT's style and tone of the story, which is fine just seeing the other two boys is cool and I just really wanna fight Chersire anyway after that cliffhanger. Expect something you'd see from Shrift is what I would say.
I would honestly prefer that. I love MGQ, but Shrift's Battle Fuck system is much better imo. I mean maybe it's not a good comparison because both games take a very different approach to battle, but the fact that Shrift's girls and h-scenes are fully animated gives it the win. Also if this means we might battle a character from MGQ in Shrift, that'd be something else.
so what do you do in the first fight with the one eyed person no matter how much damage i do she grabs you then you can only do 1 action befor your lust gets maxed out on your second turn in that grab and the skill that removes lust does nothing
try wind magic it can breaks holds i always forget that wind magic can do thatI can't even beat this boss, when he grabs me I can't escape, any advice?
SHRIFT → MGQ, MGQ → SHRIFT, both game plans have been decided.
Next month, the MGQ side will release information little by . This side will publish the details of the last video of EX3 after that.
This announcement will certainly betray the expectations of each fan (in a good way).
