Re: Parasite in City [New Comic!]

The design is awesome(i still play parasite eve 2) and this is a good thing. Also as stated the clothes get ripped off anyways, so everyone wins.

Re: Parasite in City [New Comic!]

I should probably know better, but this isn't going to be a comic right? The title is still there and I'm confused as to why since this is looking to be shaping up like a game.

Also, the Parasite Eve reference is such a beautiful touch that I insist you to include it in some form. Truly Glorious.

I think dot_slave3 was also referring to another part of this thread, a few pages back, when somebody incorrectly said "he's not Japanese, he's Korean". While I don't think nationality matters (we're all just here for the animated boobies), it's a very sensitive issue in those countries. For instance, my late grandparents from Hong Kong are extremely anti-Japanese because of World War II. They're probably rolling in their graves, because I love anime, hentai, etc.

I can understand why dot_slave3 would want to avoid people knowing his nationality because it would effectively hurt his customer base and people would not buy his game because "he's not one of their own". His nationality has no bearing on his clearly awesome skills as a h-game creator. He is clearly very uncomfortable speaking about this and we should respect his wishes and move on.

Let's make those boobies bigger! (just kidding)

Oh I see. So you're not actually Japanese, but the person who handles the blog is. That makes sense.
In the end, I'm sure people don't really care about where you're from, as long as you create awesome games :)

Re: Parasite in City [New Comic!]

Agreed. If anything, I'll bet most of us who are interested are only so because that makes it easier to avoid inadvertently giving offense. So if asking is a problem, then we'll cheerfully avoid such.

Re: Parasite in City [New Comic!]

nationality discussion above this line

back on topic about the game plz...

Re: Parasite in City [New Comic!]

So if the shotgun is any indication in previous sprites, will there only be the shotgun, or will the pistol return, as well? Perhaps allowing for more resource management and decision making like leaving the shotgun for sticky situations (heh heh) or boss characters?

It is very popular in the US but I'm not sure how popular it is outside of the US, I never hear any of my friends outside of the US mention it. And while it is popular in the US and 22 million viewers is a lot of people, there are over 670 million people in the US. So the vast majority do not watch the Walking Dead in the US.

Personally, I've been a TWD addict since 2006 but as of last week, I decided I'm no longer going to buy the comic. In my opinion, the show keeps getting better while the comic, it just is starting annoy me. Kirkman turned Rick into a cripple for the most part and I like the bad ass heroic Rick, and well, he's gone in the comic. So now I need to find people to buy what's left of my collection on Ebay, or maybe do some trades.

No, I'm not putting out bait..

Getting back on topic, while Parasite is in the zombie genre like TWD, I feel Parasite leans far more on Resident Evil than TWD. As much as I like Parasite and Resident Evil, I don't like the mutated creatures in Resident Evil or Parasite in City. I wish they'd both just stick to zombies and survivors that are just evil. Imagine if Parasite, instead of bugs, there were Mad Max like bad guys, you know the type, they usually have a punk or metal look, and just savagely beat and rape people in post apocalyptic movies.

Re: Parasite in City [New Comic!]

Holy shit. NOW can we stop with the country of origin topic and just discuss the game? Personally, I love that Dot_Slave interacts with us here and I'd hate to be part of the thread that pissed him off.

I sure hope so.

Even without the sex content, I thought it was a great "cinematic platformer" in the vein of Flashback, Out Of This World, or Prince of Persia.
