Re: Eating your posting avatar.

If you have an actual recipie for Soylent Green, I will be very frightened.
In all seriousness I did have one tucked away somewhere, but I havn't been able to find it since I got back so I'm going to have to look it up again.

That is, indeed, frightening and I'm just twisted enough to want to see it if you can find it.

Re: Eating your posting avatar.

While this isn't the actual recipe (which I did have), this is a somewhat amusing version:

Time:45 minutes
Difficulty:Easy
Serving Size:Serves Four

Preperation:
1. Secure the flesh of Charlton Heston.
2. Prime cuts include the flank and shoulder.
3. Sweetbreads are NOT recommended for this recipe.
4. Grind thoroughly.
5. Be sure to wash your hands! Fecal matter and formaldehyde are NOT your friends!

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix meat with 1 clove of crushed garlic (to ward off vampires a la Omega Man).
2. Chop one onion, and one seeded jalapeno pepper, finely.
3. Add one cup of bread crumbs.
4. Mix all ingredients, seasoning lightly with salt and
5. pepper.
6. Spoon mixture into open and seeded bell peppers.
7. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
8. Serve to guests on cardboard. Best eaten while huddled together in threadbare clothes, in a shabby, cramped tenement.

It's almost as if Tomoe planed this...

Hmm, when I made my avatar I hadn't a clue what it really was. Other than a ominous tentacle monster type thing from the Queen of Fighters game. Though as I've learned, it happens to be the mysterious entity known as "Back Beard", a side character from the manga GeGeGe no Kitaro. Known for his disdain of lolicon (note, lolicon, not loli), and his phrase "Kono Lolikon-domo-me!!”, or “Damn all you lolicon!”

A far more popular alter ego/daughter of Back Beard is Beako, who has become something of a symbol of loli's everywhere. Depicted chastising lolicon, while getting attention for being one. What would happen if I ate them?

Well, I'd probably start "damning" and attacking Oni at random.

Blech on the jalepeno and I am never going to be able to look at stuffed peppers the same way again. Great. Just great. Started reading it and went "sounds like mom's meatloaf," then I got to the peppers and dammitall...

It does sound tasty don't it though? I wonder if a Merlot would go well with it?

Re: Eating your posting avatar.

How about fava beans and a nice Chianti? (sp?)

Perhaps... I'll have to pull Mr. Heston out of my freezer and sample a few bottles as I try this one out.

Actually a fruity wine would go best with this dish, a nice zinfandel, beaujolais, or even Aussy shiraz. Merlot may be a bit to tannic for with the jalapeno. Chianti would work though. Don't actually know about the fava beans never had them.

Yeah actually they would work better, though I'd pass on the JD. I get the dry heaves just from the smell of the stuff, ever since one very bad beach party in Monterey.

...

Tough Old Man?

With warty toad oil fillings?

Uh, Um... Jiraiyas not exactly what I'd call a nummy treat... And I think that... Someone should help!

Hes hard to trap... And kinda smelly...

And oil bombs hurt!

I think HE is gonna end up eating ME!
