Re: HeroineRumble - 3D ACT Fighting/Battlefuck/H-Wrestling
Need some input from experts here.
What is the defining characteristic for furries? I thought it was body fur. A simple animal ear headpiece and a tail does not make a girl furry?
Wouldn't really call myself an expert, but the main defining characterics in my book are a snout and full body fur.
There have been quite a few fighting game characters that rode the line successfuly that had more than just the ears and tail and were not quite called furry.
Felicia from Darkstalkers for example:

I personally don't care much for the paws and claws design choice they made with her, but as far as I am aware she's one of the success stories of 'not exactly furry'.
If you want to play it safe, go with just the ears and tail.
However if you want the character to be more unique overall, look into making a good costume for her that makes her seem more wolf-like to go along with her animations and theme.
Good execution of her theme doesn't
require actual fur, but if you want her to be represented as a wolf girl and not just a girl with a doggy headband and tail you need to give her more depth than that. (The animations you proposed on the blog will definitely help)
All of this aside, my own request would be for patches of fur on her body that
don't make her look inhuman, but add to her design [Think similar to tribal/feral tattoos in symmetrical fur] and to
please consider her outfit design heavily, a good one can really push her over the top and make her memorable.
