actually, 4 orange rings is that video cable being disconnected

also, it was 3, my bad

at least i managed to get my copy exchanged for fallout 3

I get 4 red rings. They might have changed it or something though.

yeah, there are different models of xbox, i still have the first model when it came out, so i get orange rings, newer models get red

You can resurrect her? Damn, I was hoping Theresa was the only returning character. Unless you can get the old hero back too, so he can destroy everything for you.

That makes sense.

I got the free one, which is apparently 5 items and no island.

I got the full one, which allows you to bring back your dog if you sacriface people. You get no Bad / corruption points if you do. Only one person is required, But I did it with 5 people just for the added death.

i actually went out and brought another copy of fable 2, and it worked

now all i need is the new content, and i'll be happy

Never pick family unless you just want achievement!
In knothole island you can bring your poor doggy back to life! It is sweet!

I think knothole island is broke. I did the winter quest and talked to the chieftan, but I can't start the next "season"

You have to leave the island and wait till the next quest appears.

I only had the first on computer. I don't have a lot of consoles so fable two for me is out *cries* The first one was so awesome.

Is Fable 2 as horribly short as the first one was?

If so, I think I'll give it a pass. The first one I had completed in a day of casual playing. Got 100% items, equipment, optional quests etc on the second day of playing. Worst disappointment ever for the hype, except maybe that one time I tried Syberia from the great reviews I'd read, only to have it end when the main story was just beginning.

I think 2 was a bit longer, and there's much more stuff to do after. The real estate stuff is especially challenging (two or three locations that cost ridiculous sums), and the addition of achievements may make the game a bit longer. The DLC adds some length, but isn't a must have.

Of course, your mileage may very depending on how long a day of casual playing is for you, or even what casual playing is for you. Even so, it's been long enough that if you have any used game stores near by you ought to be able to get it relatively cheap.

really? just wait, do some bartending. by the time you max out your multiplier consistently, you'll be able to buy almost anything, including the expensive real estate items :/
