I really enjoyed their interpretation of thunder struck. I enjoy the these instruments trying new things figuring out new sounds that haven't really been done with them. I gotta say, I am glad I saw this today put me a smile on my face.

Edit: I just found this made me giggle abit.

As for awesome, I've fallen in love with the group ArcAttack, and how they use tesla coils to make music. Example, look for "ArcAttack doing Popcorn by Hot Butter with Tesla Coils at MakerFaire NY 09.18.11" (I'd post links, but, well, semi-lurker)

I like how the other half of the complaints is about the story being almost entirely silent and being nearly senseless violence.

In a TF2 Machinima.

Sure, the vidya game characters are known for the vocals, but compare this to, say, Expiration Date. Nearly same level of quality and just as a nonsensical story, just the story is told in a different way.

Furthermore, giving the characters voices apart from their established voice actors would just feel fucking wrong. And you cannot get the professionals in without either knowing them or paying them well-deserved money for their work, what the fuck do you expect for a fan video made from only blood sweat and tears? People are retardumb sometimes.

Funny fact: Valve did offer the original cast to do voicework, but the animators politely declined. Again, different vision, still worked out well in my books.
