@darmy what is tf2?
team fortress????
So, Shogun 2 just went up for preorder on steam. They're not even offering anything as a benefit for preorder.
Oh, and $90 USD for me. I'm somehow guessing the price isn't quite that high for the Americans. (Confirmed, $50 USD for Americans)
Glad I already preordered the Grand Master Edition for $168 AUD. Paying $78 for the upgrade to collectors ed, plus an awesome chessboard, plus other goodies as well? Sure. I need a new chessboard anyway, and one with samurai pieces is cool :3
1......168 usd!? x.x Jesus you are totally gypped man. Its a good thing you got that new job.
Yeah but the documentaries you can usually find uploaded somewhere on a site or torrent. As for any specail armor, usually if a game does that, theres a higher tier of armor in the game that can override it, so its not so bad.He said AUD. And considering how expensive chess sets can actually get, I wouldn't say he got gyped. He just got a game that's worth about $70. Add a few extra things within the game itself, a chess set, a Takeda Shingen Daimyo Figurine, an art book, and a bamboo book replica... I'd actually say he got a pretty good deal.
The figurine could run upwards of $70 on its own. Good chess sets can cost upwards of $500. In the end, I'd say it's a good deal.
The only thing that bugs me about this is the extra shit they give players in game that should just be included in the original game. An extra faction, a head start with general XP... just for shelling out some extra money.
If the limited edition had said "we got some different looking armour, and documentaries and such on the disk" I would have no problem with it. The fact that I have to push forward around $168 to get things that should be in the game itself annoys me.
