i'm not sure how to feel about grimhelm's communication ability
on one hand radio silence spanning multiple months makes me wonder if the game is abandoned
on the other hand with the maid game complete and stuff, grimhelm has a proven track record, which is more than you can say about a lot of these outfits
i guess ultimately i don't like just trusting that it's being worked on without any public updates, but grimhelm is one of the few people that's actually earned that trust

I would even go that far, because his first game, Dark Star, is still unfinished.
A few animations were removed, and the cum animations were never added, despite being teased on his website.

Well, it's complete and released. Anything more is just add-on content.
Few animations were removed or replaced with more fluid ones. If you kept old version, you didn't lose any content.

Wasn't there a russian-based project with a reworked version of the game? Like, increased difficulty, new animations etc.
Okay, it was called Black Star and was made by the same guys that currently work on Guilty Force. So, pretty much abandoned as of now :/
I wonder how much they did in Black Star. In my opinion, animations and art in Guilty Force are not even close to Black Star.

If I remember that project right, it was basically level design, since Dark Star's levels were probably the most linear a platformer could get. They tried to open it up a bit more for exploration.
A similar project is Midnight Castle Succubus, which is just a third-party-made asset reuse of Castle Succubus, and it got a few CGs done by Libraheart. But it actually released as a full game that dwarfs the original in scale.

Well, they had some animations of their own in Black Star...more or less. Like tadpole like enemies that swarm our slutty heroine...but her own animation is still one from the main game. A bit of a cheating I you ask me but porn is often about imagination so we can imagine that it's not just a recycled and slightly reworked sequence. Also, love meter can result in birth of a new, functional enemy so +5 points for Griffindor in my book.
