It didn't make me sad, it made me angry. It's like Microsoft is pissing in the face of everyone who doesn't have Kinect and then asking why are you complaining when you end up with a mouthful of piss.

And all the PC games in development are pissing on the faces of people who don't have the latest hardware and then there are obviously all the console exclusives and...

I fail to see what makes this so special. Sure, Microsoft is being kind of an asshole, but isn't that practically the industry standard these days, with all the draconian DRM and all that?

My argument is that Kinect shouldn't be forced on the player. Take Fable: The Journey that was announced in E3, that's clearly going to be Kinect heavy from the footage shown and no doubt they'll be forcing its use in other big name games. Obviously industries are going to shape the games developed for their consoles to use their new peripherals and I accept that, and I understand that there's going to be games that Kinect will be more suited for, however for games like Fable it should always be optional.

I can't say anything about other games, but Moneyneux is probably one of the biggest if not THE biggest proponent of Kinect, if I remember right. He absolutely loves the thing, so it's no surprise to me that his next Fable game would be Kinect-heavy.

Personally, any of these games that use Kinect, I'm going to wait until I see some reviews of the game (*coughJoeSageandFauszcough*), and look through them to find out what the reviewer thought of using the Kinect to play the game.

The only reason I think I'd take any issue with the Kinect being used in any game it wasn't NEEDED in is if it was shoe-horned in right before the game came out.

I've seen the Kinect being used with the new Ghost Recon title, and while the implementation looks interesting, its all optional. Fable Journey... might just be some side story or something. I'm not going to comment on that until I see more about it. Ryse seems like a rather interesting game that could be pretty cool if the Kinect controlling works as well as its shown (it won't but hey).

Still, way I see it, implementing Kinect in these larger games in interesting ways is interesting... as long as its not mandatory as you say. Kinect does hold potential, but I still like my controller so long as this technology is so young.

Still, I see where your ire is coming from. A series one's a fan of suddenly pushed to something else. While this may not be as bad as Resident Evil bailing on Play Station to take root in the Game Cube (simply because Kinect attaches to 360), it's still annoying. However, let's see what else comes about from Fable: The Journey... I've only seen the trailer and as far as I know the player just drives a fucking cart around to set up Fable 4.

I'm blathering now, I know...

So I'll mention it again.

I. FUCKING. HATE. YOUTUBE'S. SIGN-IN. BULLSHIT.

This is the THIRD FUCKING TIME that I've had to reset my password.

IT'S THE SAME FUCKING PASSWORD I RESET IT TO THE LAST TWO TIMES.

And it IS on youtube's end, because I NEVER have this issue logging into just my gmail account, which is what Youtube uses. THOUGH MY 'USERNAME' IS MY FUCKING HOTMAIL ACCOUNT. WHAT IN THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT.

On a totally and completely unrelated note in every way, I hate when all my cookies are killed off because of AVG. Well, I hate that it lumps the ones I WANT to keep in with the ones I DON'T.

So for a few years I've tried to find a DnD group out here in the middle of nowhere. While I've had no luck, my sister comes back from a going away party and said they played. While I'm not above hanging out with her friends, they are pretty awesome people after all, I wish I'd know they played earlier, seeing as the group is splitting up to go to separate places now...

Right now, I HATE Samsung, with a deep burning hatred. I connected my phone to my computer, installed the software to upgrade it, followed every step... And then it told me halfway through that there was a problem, and now my phone is in all types of trouble... And because the nut-heads at Samsung thought it would be a good idea to only be able to de-activate "Download mode" from a computer... Well... What do you do if the fact that the fucking piece of shit phone can't connect to the computer is because it's in fucking download mode?

My old phone was a Samsung, and boy did that fucker love to disconnect from my sim card. The battery was fucking useless too. Now I have an LG and that's been perfect so far.
