Dev update (or, revenge of the scope creep).

Yesterday I finally got all the new animations done and started messing with the numbers. While I was doing this, I had to stop and think about how to show the player what Hero-kun's current, er, white level is. That got me thinking: I've already got a big red bar to show HP, should I really add another big white bar?

So I did what seemed natural and drew a dick that gets whiter the closer Hero-kun is to finishing.

Then I got to thinking: Hey, I've got this dickmeter just hanging there, why don't I do something with it?

So now I'm adding animations of the monsters, uh, working on the dick meter.

I swear this is the last graphical addon. After this, I build the damn game.

Holy hell, isn't that almost like a mechanic where a female MC mugshot portrait on the status bar changed (like getting more ahegao and ahegao-er) when she's in intercourse but better because it's animated?

Sir Robot, i have to say you really are from the future because i believe you just made a very revolutionary innovation! :D

What the hell is with all the good sprite H-devs coming out of the woodwork all of a damn sudden with upcoming sprite games that look amazing. I'm not complaining, it's just...

Where was this enthusiasm over the past two years?

The good devs? They're either polishing amazing games to a mirror sheen or are stuck in the endless patreon loop of tacking on stretch goals and self-insert OCs.

I'm a mediocre dev, at best, so I'm not bound by those rules.

the enthusiasm came from the lack of it for those 2 years i feel

eventually when nothing comes out that a person wants, occasionally once in a blue moon that person will go fuck it and do it themselves

Definitely looking forward to it since this is a kink of mine which doesn't show up as much in H-games.

I don't get it either.

Since someone went and bumped my thread I'd like to apologize for the continued delays. Something happened last week that brought all progress to a screeching halt: Persona 5.

On the plus side, it's not like I'm taking preorders or monthly patreon bux, so no harm no foul.

He said he would probably have a demo by this summer. its only the 3rd week of May, just be patient.

Still working on it.

If you read back through the thread, you'll see that I've basically tripled the number of H animations from when I first announced the game. I did this because I looked at what I had and decided it wasn't good enough. Since this is my first game, it's important that I get it right.

Every time I see this thread bumped I groan a little because it reminds everyone that it's not done yet. I appreciate all of the interest so far and I'll do my best to live up to your expectations, but please remember that I'm basically figuring this out as I go.
