Malks...Pythons...both insane, so it works either way.

Also, clarify something for me...

Piece with the pointy crown...king or queen? I'm thinking king, as queens are traditionally rounded pieces on top, but I want to make sure. It's been a while since I've played chess, not to mention with pieces that look like that.

...Um... the piece with the five-point crown is the queen, while the king has the three-lobed crown.

So for white, the queen starts out on the left.

Just checking. I'm used to using real chess pieces where the queen's top tends to be a little more rounded with the little nub in the middle. Like I said, it's been a while since I've played chess with graphics like that.

Another easy way to remember is "The white queen is in the white square and black queen in black square"

Alright, it's definitely going too slow. So from this point on, it's a free-for-all. Just post a move for whichever team you want.

Not yet it isn't. Since you can't move into check, he can't move there, but there is a move yet available.

And yet, even in doing that, it's still an illegal move, therefore he couldn't have made it and therefore that frees the king up to be moved again and my move stands. *raspberries*

Well, I made the last legal move for white so I take myself out of that equation for the moment.
