Re: Kingdom of Deception [Launching 5/25]

Added the public release link to the first post, so if you havent played the game, you can download the first update from there. If you want mac or linux version, they are on our patreon main page.

The game is very interesting so far. Too many choice for the trial, too many outcomes :(

And I got no bug except for the negative energy (at the start with the multiplicated trash work cost). The rest tent could gain to be more visible, though.

Edit: Ok, managed to find it. You have to AVOID the option "Plead with them" (before the very first scene). Once the first scene interupted, if you exaust every option until "ask for a duel" (avoid jump for your sword), you get the new H-scene. If you "pleaded with them", you are just send to the town. Same if you were raped before that.
Glad you find it interesting! And thanks for listing out the content as a guide in case people miss something.

And you are correct for the second part, we tried to add a way for people to dodge the intro sex completely.

just wanted too point out i am soo in love with this game already!!

i have played noxian nights for like 200 hours if not more, and i was soo looking forward too Kingdom of Deception.

this game is just the best H game i ever played and i have played my fairshare of H games.. XD

the story is amazing, and i love the way that you can have multiple endings/sides.
the characters have great personallities and good development <3
and dont let me even begin on the scenes

they are just the f*king best i have ever seen, the art is soooooo good <3
and the dialogue is just perfect, you just feel like you are there watching them getting f*ked.

this is even the first version and its soooo good already!!!
i am pumped for the next versions of the game i cant wait!!!!;)

i just wanna say thanks too the developers and the artist for making such a great game <3
Haha, I am happy you liked it so much, and we are only going to be expanding and adding to what you saw in the first version ^^

Ok i played trhu first version and in my opinion its bit short concedring that you advertised that i will be quite long for first version.
That being said this time there is choises that mater what you get, money h-scener or someting else.
Those choises can't be done in one play trhu (i tied lol).

Not sure f this is bug but you can ally with all 3 cheiftains but only 1 them wil "activate" i think it will be one that you first allied with.

Lastly sad to say but i don't think that this will become my new favorite visualnovel, its ok and nomos art is good like always but i feel like it lacks something.
Sorry you expected more, our main workload went in to base building and asset creation, which can be something people dont fully see, but from now on it should be mainly content updates.
As for the art, I am always happy to read feedback that can help me improve it, so do say if you have a more clear idea of what is lacking.

I hope it has at least as much yuri as NN had.
NN didnt have much Yuri, but here I will try to have more for sure. Next update in fact will have one scene :p

So I've finished my first playthrough and have this to say:
Sierra: amazing writing as always.
Nomo: amazing art as always.
I hope to continue to see such A+ work from this team.
Just finished playing and yeah: amazing work both in writing, visuals, h-scenes and art in general. Good, intriguing decisions, Pleasurable dialogue to go through... I loved Noxian Nights and I see I'm going to love KOD even more.

Congrats! I'll continue supporting you guys for sure :)
Thanks a lot! I am happy KoD is liked, hopefully it only gets better for you.

Re: Kingdom of Deception [Public Release June 1]

Just finished playing the first version. The game seems fun so far, even if the whole Orcs thing isn't my thing. I will definitely play this to the end.

I'm impressed by how much Nomo's art has improved. I remember finding out about Nomo years ago thanks to that Yoruichi in a reindeer suit pic lol. Gotta wonder how that pic would look like now with your improved style *nudge nudge wink wink*. Thanks to finding that one pic and following him I got to know about Noxian Nights and that game made me look into the other Sierra games and made me play The Last Sovereign.

For the first version I decided to not play into orc politics; I only talked to Dajrab who seems to be neutral (though I suspect he is the one involved with the contraband, that quest he gives is very suspicious) and didn't even talk to any of the other 2 chiefs at all, not even introduced myself.

Re: Kingdom of Deception [Public Release June 1]

Played the demo. VERY nice work! Eagerly looking forward for more updates.

Some random comments:

1. I liked the progression for the Orc blowjob scene. I don't like to use the phrase "felt natural" for something like this, but having her gradually get more comfortable with it and ask for advice (rather than suddenly turning into a wanton slut with magical cockgobbling skills, as many titles have their protagonists do) was enjoyable.

2. On the other hand, the scene between her and Lutvrog felt a little abrupt. It's well written and drawn, of course, but it's a in terms of pacing it's a little jarring to go from "I guess I'll fake a smile for these disgusting orcs in order to get my revenge" to "busty commander needs green dick, badly" in the thirty paces it takes to go from the relief tents to the training yard.

I get that there's a world of difference between whoring yourself out and coming down off of a victory rush with somebody you respect, but still, it felt a bit off.

3. It took me a minute or two to find her hut near the gate. I'm not sure if I clicked through something that mentioned where it was, but it blended in to the center camp pretty well and I missed it initially. Part of this may be because I'm playing on a fairly high pixel density screen, mind.

4. I loved the different options you could have for the opening scene in the forest. Even knowing it all meets up at the same point in the end, each branch felt internally consistent and cohesive, which is a damn fine accomplishment.

5. This game makes me feel like I need to keep a notepad window open to track what I've promised to whom. Writing and design of this depth is A Good Thing, and rare in games in general, let alone pornographic ones.

I'm guessing this is mainly due to how you choose to go through the game, but Lutvrog is typically after you've been hanging out with the barman and spent a lot of time around camp, usually after you've made some alliances as well, and she's already made it quite clear by that point that she's somewhat attracted to Lutvrog, with the main (possibly only) detriment being that he's an orc. You probably had the training and everything as well so that last part becomes much less of a concern by then.

That said, I'd personally enjoy an option to be less yielding in general, since you can be quite combative in most other interactions like the trial, I'd like seeing more of that in the actual scenes as well.

I was actually pretty surprised by how much freedom Sabia had from the get go. The blurb on the Patreon had led me to think that she would start as an actual slave.

Other people seem to point to that too, but do not worry about that, orcs are just the beginning and the start of Sabias quest. We have plans for many other locations and races. Even in the orc camp, scenes wont be only with them as you will see next update.

Thanks for that, I did try my best to improve so its nice to know it shows. And I recently finished a pic of yoruichi, but I wont be showing it publicly just yet.

Glad you like most of it!

For Lutvrog specifically, as censuur said bellow we did our best to pace it slowly and there were many hints even after the first duel of Sabia looking at him differently with respect. Also we tried to show that Lutvrog has been nothing but helpful in his intentions with Sabia, by trying to get her armour, let her train, give her info etc. So I felt like we gave that scene more attention in making it natural than others. But I think people in general feel like orcs are a different breed that romantic relationships should come a lot harder or be impossible, and in the KoD universe other races arent that much different in how they are perceived, safe for some cases and after war hate.Humans and orcs can totally live and work together if it wasnt a post war time.

In general tho, we decided to have Sabia as lot more pragmatic and doing what needs to be done, based on her rougher soldier and commanding background. For example if Lynn was in her situation, things would be a lot different.

Your first point is exactly what we aimed for.And she was more attracted and being respectful of his combat prowess and good heart, so once she actually manages to win they just row from the excitement/adrenalin of that achievement.

For the second, it was mainly Sabia (players) deciding to go on that path and trying her best to row with it. But I do see your point.

"-Two gangbang scenes if you choose to ally with Tekrok. Choose "Impress Zealous orcs " with orc slave costume Armor, and "Impression drunk orcs" with Barmaid cloth. New scene in tents (require 200 energy)."

I must be doing something wrong - despite following the instructions, it just says that Sabia could not stomach it and does not go through with it.

Re: Kingdom of Deception [Public Release June 1]

Congrats on the release! The demo is off to a good start, I especially liked the little touches like being able to ask Neve for 'expert advice' after seeing her orgy or Lutvrog calling you out in the trial if you dueled him at the start.

The art and writing are spot on, but as a suggestion, it really bugs me that regular orcs are non-entities. It's like you're living in a vacuum. Like if you duel Lutvrog and win, you get the sex scene, but I'd also expect the orcs to give you more respect in camp. And when you have to pick a side in politics, you could get rumors about the leaders when you work the bar or relief tents, instead of just asking Neve. Sabia's smart enough to not trust their gladhanding, dammit! And in the story bits Sabia is shocked by orc culture, but you don't see it much in play. Last Sovereign fleshed out the succubi at the hideaway, and it was great because if you mix politics and porn, that gives a goal beyond "moar cocks!"

I've really enjoyed this game thus far. The story's great. I love the artwork, too, especially for Sabia's character. I hope there'll be more H-scenes involving Sabia and the orcs down the road, and other species, too. Likewise, I hope Tekrok has more H-scenes planned for Sabia, and I hope there are more scenes involving Sabia in the tent as well.

As people already hinted, Sabia wouldn't do it if she hasn't been pushed more in that direction in other fields.

Glad you like it! As changes with regular orcs, we will definitely have the camp update their opinions as things change and go further as early as next update!.

There will definitely be more scenes down the road as you should expect from us ^^ For other species, a new one is coming next update, you can read more here:

And the new character base, feedback is appreciated :

The catgirl, Sabia and Lynn are too close Hairstyle wise. I mean, I already though Lynn picture in the opening post was Sabia with a slightly different hairstyle, and my first impression of the catgirl was "Sabia with an headset" (But the smile was different).

Sorry :(

Thanks for the feedback, I do see your point about Lynn/cat girl being similar and probably would have tweaked it a bit if I had not drawn a CG with her.

But not so sure about the Sabia comparison. As for Sabia and Lynn looking similar, thats actually a positive since I was wondering how to make them look related, since they are sisters and all :p

Also here is one of the early sketches with Sabia with loose hair.

If you are happy with that, it's all good :p. It was just a surprise to see this CG as Lynn and not as Sabia as I thought at first (Probably because of the 2 sabia pictures around) :p

I like that sketch quite a bit, altho it kinda feels more feminine and vulnerable than the current version.

On the topic of Hairstyles : Will we get to see our heroines mixing it up and go for sth else ? What do you guys have planned on the outfit side ? :D

It doesn't help that all of your characters seem to have very similar facial features and universally forehead-covering hairstyles. If you're looking to improve the visual diversity of your characters, I think having some girls with very short or swept-back hair would be a great place to start.

Yea I can totally see why that happened, I wanted them to look alike for the sake of being sisters, but I didnt want to go that far. Will have it mind for the future.

Mhm, I think the tied up hair does imply she is ready for action, but I do also like a more feminine Sabia.
For different hairstyles it is kind of complicated since it does make the bases harder to manage, but we are thinking about maybe doing different hairstyles for specific scenes.
For outfits, new ones are definitely planned down the road ^^

Thats fair criticism, I think its mainly my anime style drawing preferences coming in play, but I will try to shake it up for the new characters coming in the future.
