In today's news...

Re: In today's news...

I think it's a shame, that they have not recognized Nunu as this, as he has been adressed like this for years. I also think that it's preposterous that they have not adapted the terminology "Nunu" as we have for years.

you best be careful, i am like an elder god, i can see and hear wherever my name is uttered and thinking of my form gives me access to your mind.

Re: In today's news...

In today's(Read: yesterday's) news, Dutch teacher caught with naked pictures of herself online by students. She is trying to get the cops to do -something-, but nobody knows who did it, and the pictures are already spread all along the internet. Bonus points that she teaches at a purely christian school, and just kept on teaching like nothing happened.

The article, in Dutch. It's a small one.

And what you're probably most interested in, the pictures(NSFW):

Re: In today's news...

+rep to her for carrying on teaching

Re: In today's news...

Norrie said:
androgynous anarchist deeply committed to humanity and this planet’s ecosystems, and therefore opposed to purely profit driven corporations and governmental bullying and terrorism.
If this is his self-identification based purely on his sex, I think I really hate this person.

They tell the old man with Parkinson's to work for what he gets, mock him for wanting universal healthcare by throwing dollar bills in his face, and call him a Communist.

The old man with Parkinson's.

Well, that probably has Michael J. Fox spinning in his grave right now.

Re: In today's news...

..Fuck, there are actually people that ignorant and stupid? Really? What the fuck. I hope all of them get exactly the same and lose all their savings by something out of their control so they will have to rely on healthcare.

This also explains why trolling works, there really are morons in real life.

"When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint.
When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a communist."

For the love of Jebus Chrispies...

Someone needs to just smack today's kids for the idiotic things they're .

Re: In today's news...

that does seem considerably more reasonable than the last school that did it. even gives the impression the principal wants things returned to normal once the hugging has abated. still, more likely to be an isolated case of sanity more than a justification for everyone else.

Re: In today's news...

Yes, Fred Phelps is at it again. I already know the opinion of most of you regarding him. So we don't need to discuss that unless you want to. My problem with this is yes he has the freedom to protest under the first ammendment, but the father didn't sue them for that he sued them for emotional distress. So bargle fargle, this is driving me so nuts I can't even begin to type what I really want to say. So discuss and maybe I'll figure out how to better express what I'm trying to say.

In a bit of a shocking follow up to that to those that might miss it.

Yes Bill O'Reilly is paying for the legal costs that the father got stuck with, when the Appeals court overruled the original verdict.

Re: In today's news...

You know you're a really fucked up Christian Conservative group when Bill O'Reilly says you're a bunch of loons.

Re: In today's news...

I'll admit I didn't see that coming. So just so I have this right, wearing a shirt saying bong hits for Jesus, or fuck you is not protected by freedom of speech. If I wanted to go to a soldier's funeral and say god hates soldiers it's okay. I really need to stop using common sense as it apparently never applies.

Also so god hates America because we accept gays, since when did that happen. Last I checked we're probably one of the least accepting first world nations when it comes to homosexuality. Oh wait sorry common sense that's right.

common sense - 0, world - 200,000,000,000,000,000,000
