I hope the next time someone posts in this thread it'll be a post by jimb133 telling us of his progress, which would give us something to talk about as there's no reason anyone should post anything in this thread anymore until that happens.

UPDATE 02


in this update:


* A very early version of Wolf rape the mini game.

* Rise of jimmy full game development updates.

* New ideas on the full version of the Rise of jimmy game.

* some Banners to add to your own website.

Please Note: the wolf rape mini game v0.2 download files are not working correctly and i have no idea whats going on. its proberly the installer im using will upload the working file when i can.



Early version of "Wolf Rape" mini game

v0.2

changes updates:

* added simple walk animation to the characters in game.
* tweaked movement speed of the player.
* added a basic background image to the game.
* added jump animation to the player.
* added a bunny npc to the game with simple ai.
* added the first bunny rape animation to the game

( when you press the rape button on the bunny it loops instead of stopping
if you are looking for the fully working version you going to have to wait. )

Rise of jimmy development updates

Ok so to be honest i have had alot to do recently so i have not had the time to do anything major to the game. but this is what i have done :

* created the main menu screen with my own composed music added to it.
* added code so i can now put an intro at the beginning of the game.
* worked on the characters movement code.
* got a test sprite for the character jimmys sister.
* added some code so now you can talk to jimmys sister.
* worked on the inside of jimmys familys house a little.

New ideas on the full version of the Rise of jimmy game


so i have had some messages from people on what they want added to the game and these are these things which could be added:

* Can be raped back by enemies if you lose a battle.
* Achievement system
* furry characters added in the game.

if you think anything else should be added just post on this thread or Pm me.

That's a minigame,it's pretty much written just above the pictures.

The wolf looks like it was taken from LaTale online, :3 must be my imagination...

it is taken from la tale but edited .... its just a test sprite until nuula creates the real thing.

well think on them for abit later when u are further through scripting and stuff further down the track if u like the ideas that is.

First of all, I want to say that the concept you had provided initially was bold and flew in the face of what people expected and are used to seeing. That's good. I want to see more of that. While feedback is useful and, to some degree, you'll find yourself catering to the masses more than creating what you want to have in your project it is very important to remember to make this what you want above all else. Be different. Please. Please. I cannot stress that enough. And thank you for presenting your idea to the masses.

Secondly, and most importantly, as I do not wish to simply feed any potential disagreements or debates on the matter as would be counterproductive, I want to point out that your mini-game alone could be a huge hit. One of the games series that came to mind reading this was the Sven games (search Sven Kommt if you are unaware). Simple in concept, yet addictive, and - the best part of all - funny. In the pictures you have provided, though prototype, you have two issues which I find humorous: Style contrast and Size contrast. Your wolf is much larger than the animals of which he hunts and the animals are vastly different in style, being very cute.

I understand that anything you provide now may be vastly different from your finished product. I don't have expectations for your work to wind up exactly how I might do things myself. But I think that something very basic, such as Wolf Rape, could become its own little gem shining amongst the typical piles of Sameness we're usually so 'blessed' with here at ULMF.

As an aside, you do have followers over at Toon Pimp's forums you might want to share with in your game development thread, as well, since they are now relying on others, such as myself, to share possible updates and developments.

i have been very busy atm but as soon as i have a little time i will sort out the installer thing :)
