"Heh, looks like you could do with some food too, eh?" He says, taking out the treat dispenser he gives one to Gardenia who eats it happily.

Heading into the PokeCenter Alex walks up to the counter.
"Hi, uh, can you look over my Pokemon for me?" Alex asks the nurse awkwardly. This would be his first time actually going to a PokeCenter. "And would it be possible to get something to eat, and perhaps somewhere to stay for the night?"

"Sure thing," Nurse Joy says to Alex as she takes his Ralts from him. "If you'll go down that corridor you'd find the centers cafe on the first right and a little bit further you'll find trainer acommodation. Dont worry, its all free," She add's as she takes Gardenia to be checked over. "And we'll have your Ralts back to you in about an hours time."
"If you'll please wait a little bit we'll have your Pokemon as good as new," The other nurse Joy says to Blaze as she takes her Pokeballs from her.
Alex decides to wait until Blaze has finished up before setting off to the cafe.

Alex walks over to the counter to get some food. After choosing burgers an fries he waits for Blaze before going to a table, choosing one away from the other trainers.
"So what made you decide to become a trainer?" Alex asks the girl after a few minutes of silenced eating.

As Blaze also bought some food and joined Alex, she thinks about the awnser before saying, "Well, it was sorta for the hell of it. Practically nothing else to do in Kanto, y'know? That, and I sorta don't just wanna stay in one place that often."

"Thats pretty cool. For me I wanted to go out and explore for a while now, I just didnt have any reason to. But now that I've had a bust up with my old man I need some space, so I thought why not go out and about now?" Then something dawned on Alex. "Oh crap, I forgot to tell Michael that I was leaving. I'll have to phone him otherwise he'll have thought I've forgotten..." He says to himself out loud.

"Michael's a friend from Saffron. I help him with his inventions, he was working on something but when he tried applying the last piece it exploded and now he needs to get all the bits again to work on it."

Depositing his plate on a rack he heads back to the main foyer with Blaze.
"Ah sir, your Ralts is ready now," The Nurse Joy that dealt with him earlier said to him as they both entered the foyer.
"As is your Pokemon, miss," The second Nurse Joy says to Blaze.
Taking Gardenia from the Nurse Joy and thanking her Alex turns to Blaze. "You got any plans now?"
