SIM [KISS] Custom Order Maid 3D2 + Modpack R4.10 [JAP version][VJ013971]

I keep seeing people mentioning something called "CR Edit", what is that? The new high-poly body demo? If so, is there any way to download it?

Also... the game threw an error relate to yotogi class at me right after I finished the download, and it wouldn't start. Can it be that I installed an official patch before I even touch the game? (I did make sure to run the batch file to set install directory, though.)

Another thing is, even though I've run the BAT file already, the update installer still couldn't tell where I installed the game; I've played it a few years ago on my old rig, can't remember exactly but their update installer seems to be doing that all the time.

***EDIT***

Never mind, rehashed the torrent, switched my PC's country to Japan in settings, rebooted, moved the install folder and ran the installation BAT file again. It still throws this same error at me:

***EDIT 2***

Okay never mind again!! Jeebus, all I have to do is go to CONTROL PANEL to set my LOCALE to Japanese, SETTING LOCATION TO JAPAN IN WIN10 DASHBOARD IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.
You know, it's not like the instructions for CM3D2 are not in the master guide in op. Start reading and stop guessing. (chapter 5.1 & 5.2)
As for CR Edit read the glossary. (chapter 4)

Dunno if anyone has brought up this yet but to anyone who ran into this error (pic related) when installing DLC, try looking at your entire directory after extracting the archives. You might have folder names that are way too long for windows which makes the OS block update.exe and return this error

That's how I fixed it for myself at least

I said it a billion times to avoid long paths. This applies to dlc installers too.

Yeah I found another torrent called "COM3D2.5", might be what I was looking for, I'll take a look at the guide, but also give the torrent a shot.

Just so you know, savedata from COM3D2.5 won't work in COM3D2 if you decide to downgrade back to normal version like most people do.

I can always download COM3D2 separately if I REALLY want to play it that badly. :D

According to your replies, a lot of people are avoiding COM3D2.5 because of mods, but I don't use mods, so the more complete the official collection I have, the better. :)
I also found a torrent to download CR EditSystem, and 4 more torrents related to the so-called "X-Package". Didn't know they added in so much more stuff in the last two years, Jeebus...

Lastly, just out of curiosity... are there endings to all these games?

a lot of the files in the modpack give me this error when I extracted it into the folder, do you know if something is wrong with them or is there something I can do to fix this?
I already tried reinstalling Mod.001-013 and I pretty much got the same result
the files this happen to also end up getting skipped in the extraction

1. Do you have all parts downloaded in the same folder?
2. Are you using 7zip to extract the first part only? Not winrar or anything else.
It is possible that one part was corrupted when you downloaded. But having the same error when redownloading is unlikely.
I suppose you didn't try something stupid like combining parts from a previous release
This might sound silly but did you try a system restart ?
Also you might want to download and extract on healthy ssd drive not some beaten old hdd.

1. yeah, they're all on the root of my SSD. I tried redownloading everything there to see if it would work.
2. I tried using both programs to extract it separately and got the error on both, I'll try extracting it again with 7zip but I'm fairly sure I'll get the same error.
The error is also spread out through the different parts, when I extracted it through winrar I got around 10000 errors each time
I'll restart my pc as a last resort probably. Thanks for the suggestions!

I tried extracting everything with 7zip by right-clicking Mod.7z.001>Show more options (I'm on win11)>7Zip>Extract files, which I put into the root directory of COM3D2, got the same error
106,987 variations of it in fact
Are you sure the archives aren't corrupted at all?

They were fine when they were uploaded. I can't guarantee what google servers do afterwards.
It looks to me like 7zip is struggling to extract in the game folder directly. The COM folder could be read only or you need admin permissions.
I'll test the mod parts to check for errors but I'm 99.9% sure that the issue is on your end.
And again, please only use 7zip to extract. Use the newest version available. Winrar can't handle split 7z archives and will corrupt the files.

Edit:
I downloaded them myself and there are no errors.
I compiled the for them and they match with the original.

that's really odd, I redownloaded them all separately after this had happened before and I'm getting the same thing
Did you try extracting the files as well? I'm currently trying to extract the Mod folder within to the root of my SSD and I'm still getting the error

I tested the damn archives. What else do you want ?
Check the md5 and run 7zip separately as admin. Clearly it's missing some write permissions. There is no issue with the files themselves.

There is no need to physically extract an archive in order to test it. 7zip has a test function that outputs the same result. If it says there's no errors then there are no errors.
Did you try what I asked? That includes downloading on a verified healthy drive. It is very important that md5 hashes match otherwise there's nothing to discuss. It's like having different files from what I uploaded and then complaining that they don't work. One out of place byte of data can corrupt the whole thing.

Thank you very much for the Modpak!
I'm glad you like it.

Do you need to update the game and install all the new DLC for the Modpack to work?

R4.7 is 4 months old so the mods don't require any of the dlc released n this timeframe.
You must update the game to latest version because some of the default CMI plugins may require it and will spam errors or prevent the game from functioning properly if you don't.
If you have a fairly recent version it will probably work fine. But if you start with a 2022 repack then update is mandatory.
It's up to you if you want to install all the "new" dlc. Mods only require costumes.
You can live with a few mod errors caused by missing dlc but it will eventually get on your nerves.
Most mod errors are probably caused by failing to link COM to CM

Hello inlolzwetrust,

Thank you for your modpack and your very detailed instructions on how to find everything we might ever need.

Also, what a beast of a work you've done in compiling, execution, and continual maintenance of such a large repository. Probably the most passionate project I have personally ever seen.

Again, many thanks for your efforts.

Is there still no way to reduce the loading times?
The problem is obviously the thousands of small mod files, which will become more and more in time. If only there was a way to merge them all in one file, the game would start in 30 seconds...

ShortStartLoader, ShortMenuLoader, ShortVanillaDatabase, MaidLoader
Honestly the load time on jap version ain't even that bad. Cold start to edit menu in 5-6 minutes with caches already built, running on a old mediocre pc from a sata3 ssd. I can imagine better load times on a more modern pc.
