Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Giselle smiled and nodded to Ichor, offering her a hand up and pulling her up to stand. After Ichor explained to Terra what Idris would likely be doing soon, Terra scurried along back to the temple ahead of them. "Ichor, stay close to me okay, I'll do everything I can to protect you. And Gale got shot too? Damn, we need to find her then too if we can," Giselle said, looking worried as they set out for the temple as soon as she heard about Gale, keeping on her guard and hurrying along at a brisk jog.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

I don't think she was shot. I'm not sure, perhaps she was. His weapons are unique. It was some kind of silver tube. she answered smoothly, following Giselle smoothly. And I'm not worried about myself. I was careless, that's all. she continued, tasting the air several times and tilting her head, using senses Giselle didn't have to keep an eye on their surroundings.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Mmm, I hope nothing bad has happened to her. Without Gale, or any of you for that matter, then it won't be the same Kylie," Giselle said, looking around as they went to make sure they weren't ambushed as they maid straight for the temple, with Giselle using her surfing abilities when they got near enough to water to do so.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Once they made it to the water, they were in the clear to head for the temple and once there, they'd find Gale and Hecate, Gale patting the little monster as it doodled on the side of the temple enthusiastically, turning to wave at them before going back to drawing.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Moving to the nearest water area, Giselle surfed them along and when they arrived at the temple, she saw Gale and Hecate both. Sighing with relief, Giselle smiled softly to them, and walking over. "Hecate honey, Terra's gonna be rather cross if she sees you doodling on the walls you know," Giselle said softly to Hecate, but pet her anyway with a smile.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Hecate scrunched up her face and stomped her little paddle feet when Giselle told her she probably shouldn't doodle, looking rather rediculous before she got her pets, making a happy little clicking noise before rushing into the temple with Gale right behind her, the sounds of priestesses panicking hilarious as Hecate bugled and shot for the stairs, Ichor looking... confused.

And people wonder why I'm nervous about going back... she said, shaking her head.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"I know honey, and if I had papers for you to doodle all over all day and night, while feeding you oranges, I'd let you," Giselle told Hecate, as she gave her pets to her.

When Hecate charged into the temple with Gale right behind her, Giselle couldn't help but chuckle at the craziness of the reactions of the priestesses a little bit. "Aye, and I can understand that," Giselle said, smirking before following them inside, gently taking Ichor's hand as she walked inside, leading her down to the chamber Kylie was in, where she hoped Gale and Hecate both were. "Hey hon, are you doing okay?" Giselle asked Gale when she got to her, leaning over and kissed her on the lips.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Following the pair down to their body, Hecate dashed around excitedly while Gale smiled softly at Ichor and leaned into Giselle's side, the Siren noticing her left hand hadn't left her side since she'd seen her this time. Asking if she was alright, she winced and shook her head, revealing another bullet wound. So she HAD been shot. The shooter had ways to fire his bullets outside of his guns. It didn't bode well. But she didn't look overly concerned about the wound, rather then bleed, she hissed little wisps of black smoke and it seemed to be mending.

So you're even more durable then I am. I had wondered. Ichor said, Gale nodding, before gesturing at the body and at Ichor, the snakewoman sighing and looking to Giselle before resigning herself. Alright, Let's get this over with. Oi! Cookie Monster! Make with the swap she called to Hecate, the little monster rushing over to push it's head into her hand. Not even Ichor could resist giving her a pet at the nuzzle.

Hecate then did something a little odd, she opened her mouth, and inhaled, Hard, drawing all the collected energy from Ichor in an instant and reducing her to a green crystal, needle thin and about as long as Giselle's hand, or in this case, Kylie's torso, holding it with her tongue.

Waddling over, she slid the crystal literally back into Kylie's wound, and breathed some, but not all of the energy in with it. Giselle would be delighted to see the color immediately return to Kylie's skin, and her breathing to not only Start again, but to be regular, and even. Aria was likely putting all of Ichor's gained knowledge to good use right at this moment as Giselle watched the small swirling lights, Green and Blue moving in perfect harmony around White, pulsing in unison while White, which would be Idris, seemed a little more discordant and eratic compared to the two sister shards. Hecate was quick to inhale again, forcefully extracting Idris, who Giselle would see was the most intense looking Fairy she'd ever seen in her fucking life.

8 inches tall, muscular for a sprite, and crackling with an intense energy, unlike Most of the others, she Did have a solid body in this form, and she zipped over to Giselle and hugged her, making the siren tingle from the contact while Gale smiled at her and slumped against the wall, focusing on her own injury. Sweet mother of all the gods. How did you convince her to come back? Idris asked, her hair standing straight on end in a fierce little white mohawk. A Lightning Sylph. Sorry I'm so small. All the energy in the world to play with but i'm the most physically unstable... a bigger body would be hard to maintain for long. she explained, zipping around the room in short little bursts, like static electricity, suddenly jumping from place to place as she looked around.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Giselle was quite amazed that Ichor was holding her hand and whatnot as they went down to Kylie's body, while Hecate bounced around them. When Gale revealed that she'd been shot too, Giselle's eyes widened and she used her other hand that Ichor wasn't holding and gently pulled it up to look at the wound. "Gale... is that alright?" Giselle asked Gale with a worried expression on her face.

Giselle got them to the side of the pool, where Hecate was told by Ichor to make with the switchies for them. When Hecate began opening her mouth and sucking in, Giselle watched Ichor and leaned in just before she poofed into the gemstone, and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. "Thank you, so much. I swear I'll make it up to you," Giselle whispered to her one last time before she poofed and was taken over to Kylie's body.

She watched as Hecate took Ichor's shard over to Kylie, following her out into the water after undressing quickly, so she didn't have to change yet again. After watching Kylie's color coming back to her, quite a good bit actually, she sighed with relief, and when Idris was drawn out, Giselle chuckled a bit as she looked down at the little fairy. Giselle returned the hug to Idris and smiled.

"I made a promise to her, one that I'm going to make to all of you when I can. And it's alright hon, I don't care how big or small you are. You're beautiful either way, just like all of your other pieces are. Suffice it to say though hon, I told Ichor that I would find a way to let her venture out like you, Aria, Gale, and Sola all did before back home. So that all of you could do that at some point," Giselle told Idris, smiling softly before giggling as she watched her zip around. "Now... Kalt's hurting, Idris. I need you to talk to her. She's crumbling, and I'm afraid if she goes much further, I'll lose you all. And there's more, which I think you all deserve to know. Cammy's involved too, your mother. I don't know to what extent, and why, but she is," Giselle then told Idris, looking worriedly at her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Mom? Why is Mom involved? Idris asked, tilting her head. Whats she gonna do? back us a pie... Oooooo I wanna Pie, Hecate, you want a pie? Idris said, having zipped over to land on Hecate's head, the little food monster nodding vigorously and looking to Giselle. PIE??

That's when the strangest thing happened.. The wall of the cavern room rumbled and everyone could hear music, before a rift opened and a horse drawn wagon being driven by Kina and Kuna shot through the wall while another opened up in front of them. HOW LUCKY!!! Kuna cried madly, snatching up Hecate with a net, as the wagon shot towards the other rift, in the other wall. TO FIND A PORTAL IN SPACE AND TIME IN AN ORANGE GROVE! HI LADY LOVE YOU BUH BAI! she called before the three of them vanished again, Idris flopped on the ground. Well then... Hay an orange! awesome! she said, attacking one on the ground and starting to make a mess, considering the cat antics normal. Interdimensional wagon travel and all.

So, Kalt's in a bad way. And... Hecate's been Kuna-napped... sooo... what do? she asked as she rammed her tiny head into a hole she'd gnawed in the orange peel, biting away before Kylie's sword hovered over to her with a hand and sliced the orange in half, making it much easier for the fairy to simply BURY herself in it as she ate.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"I seriously don't know why she's involved, like I said. But I'd like to know. because I was hoping that the first meeting I'd have with her, would be nicer than this," Giselle said, looking between Idris and Hecate as they decided they wanted a pie. "Oh please, none of Kylie knows how to cook very well, save maybe Ichor, but even still she'd have to learn how first. I'll bake the pie, lots of pies, for everyone," Giselle then said, chuckling as she pet Hecate on her head.

No sooner did she finish saying that, than a portal opened up on the wall and the sounds of horse hooves clopping coming through. "Well, that was... interesting, and odd. Though, with Kylie, I've learned that odd and crazy shit happens all the time, so that was actually not as surprising as some other things that might have happened," Giselle said after they scooped Hecate up and stormed out, leaving Idris tackling an orange, as she waved bye to them.

"Aye, and I know that you're the only one that Kalt will truly listen to. At least... that's what Bossy as Kina and Kuna called her, said," Giselle told Idris, offering to peel the orange for her as she gestured at it before the thing was sliced in two.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Idris lounged in the orange peel like a little bowl after she finished it, holding a seed in her hands. Bossy huh, Not a bad name, she holds the reins most of the time. Where's Kalt? I'll go find her, see if I can talk some sense into her before she... you know... goes nuts. As for Mom... Sure she has a reason but if she had a reputation in the order it was as a planner, a strategist, not a killer. Who knows. She said. Gale was still just lounging about fixing her abdomen.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Kalt's up north of here. Sola and Luna are near her as far as I can tell. As for Cammy, well... she told me that she wanted to kill you all. But I'm not going to let that happen, Idris. I won't let it happen," Giselle told Idris, watching her recline in the orange peeling.

"So... shall we go then? Also, Gale... are you coming with us? If so, be careful," Giselle asked Idris, and then Gale, as she glanced over to the mute shard.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Makes sense in a way... That's what the Raven Queen DOES right? Kills people? I'm sure this whole situation is causing nothing but trouble... for everyone. And she'd probably want to murder all of us if Chesire has some kind of fucked up plan to make a race of magically supercharged weapon-people. I mean, Sehanine said she fixed my breeding cycle to once every couple hundred years or so. But I'm sure Chesire could undo that in easily. Maybe not with me, but the kids? Forget about it. Idris said, having so far not been exposed to the venom Cammy had shown to Giselle regarding the situation.

It's been really frustrating... and hard... stuck in our body like that. The kids are fine though, me and Aria made absolutely certain. As for everything else... I should get moving but I think Gale is hurt a little more then she's letting on... She shouldn't be fighting for awhile... If anything when Hecate gets back she should go back into our body and properly heal She continued, rocking back and forth and thinking. We got a bigger problem though... Kina and kuna can't open portals... So that was already there and they just found it... she said, pointing at the two walls.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Well I thought that she wasn't supposed to outright kill people, and was more simply supposed to guide their souls to the afterlife. And they aren't doing anything to our babies, I won't let them," Giselle said, a serious look on her face that said she would not let anything happen to their babies.

"Mmm, I agree. Gale, honey... you should stay here for now. And those two have some incredible luck. I'll let Terra know though, so that she can stay here to keep that thing from opening up again without it being one of us, or someone we trust," Giselle said, nodding in agreement about Gale being more hurt than she let out.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Not quite yet. Idris said, Gale nodding in response and setting her odd chain scythe in her lap as she started to nap peacefully. It was for the best. Think I need to show you something first. Something I haven't shown you yet My Eternal, because I wanted to be sure I wasn't completely crazy first. Or you know, my eyes were broken. Have you ever wondered, if I see the world differently then you do? She asked, planting herself on Giselle's head and rubbing her forehead mysteriously.

Close your eyes, breathe deep, and then open them again. she said, still rubbing her head which was starting to tingle a bit.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"What is it sweetie?" Giselle asked, when Idris told her she wanted to show her something. "Well... I'm pretty sure you see the world differently than I do. I mean, doesn't everyone see things differently, in some small way?" Giselle replied, closing her eyes as told and taking a deep breath, which she then let out slowly.

"So what am I supposed to see, hon?" Giselle asked curiously, as she then opened her eyes.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Idris didn't say anything else, simply let Giselle follow her simple instructions. As she opened her eyes, Giselle was looking at the same chamber underground, but it was a Riot of colors drifting gently through the air, surrounding the pool it was a massive eruption of light teal energy, twisting and curling around Kylie's body, while the dark green of Ichor, and the deep Blue of Aria suffused her skin, held tightly within her. The walls seemed to pulse with deep reds, blues, and sometimes so many colors in certain places that it would be difficult to pick out any one.

As she beheld this, this extra sight overlaid across the normal room, her head spun a little and she had to focus to just see the room itself. But the colors were still there, dimmed, lurking at the edges of her vision. I see the world like this... Every day. And if you look up, you'll see nothing but white. The Storm Priests are busy... she said, and indeed, looking up at the ceiling, Giselle would be nearly blindly by the torrent of energy being gathered far above, visible through walls, towers, stairs, there was so much of it that it was bleeding through the storm, crackling and hissing, jumping just like Idris.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

When Giselle opened her eyes again, she couldn't help but be quite awed by the sight she beheld now. "W-Whoa... this is... incredible," Giselle said, gasping softly as she looked around at the walls and the various colors she was seeing.

"Y-You've seen the world like this every day? Like, even back home too?" Giselle asked, as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing, and seeing, almost. "What does it mean, to look like this?" Giselle then asked, the near blinding light making it tough for her to see without shielding her eyes.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Yup... Didn't want to say anything right away... This is my world. Idris said softly, before Giselle asked what all the energy meant.

They're turning on the Tempest. I think Prayers and Wishes wont work this time..... So, we're gonna send the Gods a signal they can't ignore. Me and Kalt. All this extra power we have... it's making us crazy and stupid. Idris said, zipping towards the stairs.

Further up in the central chamber, the temple would be full of priestesses now all sitting silently, focusing, Terra in the center working a pillar of raw power straight up, and outside, Giselle would see every temple tower crackling with magic that was starting to spread through the sky like great wells in the earth had been broken and released as hundreds of the devout magic users who worshipped here all bent their wills to this single task. Giselle felt fear in her bones for anything that tried to fly over Garellia with this much of a storm brewing in the air. SO! We gonna go kick some ass?
