Who says it will ever be? I suppose one of the characters could ask, but whether she tells them or not is looking rather doubtful ;)

I've got my theories on that, but ultimately, unless it's essential to running the game, I like to let stuff like that come out on its own.

I am not. I saw said path, but the treen were giving of a very creepy Evil Dead vibe, so I went this way instead.
