That wouldn't be a bad idea, that way its easier to grab quickly and if its a text file we can edit it wioth our translations or things like that for when we want to take a quick look for something we don't remember (plus if i remember right the ahrd part was separating the wall of text the hooker grabed all at once, each time...)

Ok partial is ready. I haven't don't much polishing but everything should be very very playable. You need to start a new game just to be safe. Use F5 to F8 to speed past the prologue.

Help file can be manually referenced. If someone translates it, and post it again, I will incorporate it into the partial.

An example .scn file is also posted to demonstrate how easy it is for people to contribute and translate the full game.

Hey there. If you're indeed using 1.01, then can you open up the logs for me?

In your first picture, do you see a little panel with 5 buttons? The last button being red button, the second to last being the yellow one. Click the third to last one and post the logs from there. I haven't encountered that problem yet.
 
You're right, I wasn't aware you'd uploaded 2 versions this evening. I redownloaded it and it's working now.
 
I met a bug while playing, seems like a problem with a skill. It crashed everytime Chloe learned IceSlash. Using patch 1.01, I think. Error 1.png Error 2.png

There really is nothing that I can see. How did Chloe learn so many skills in such a short time? From reading the logs, it seems like she learnt IceSlash again? Maybe there's a bug where when characters learn the same skills they crash? I need to replicate this.

I just looked at the code for both IceSlash specific and Chloe specific and when a character learns new skill specific. Nothing stood out to me. I need more info. Can this happen to other characters? Is it only Chloe? Is it specifically Ice Slash?

I just played Chloe a bit, learned a bunch of skills. No crashes. Did you start a brand new game?

It was a brand new game. It happened with only Chloe's IceSlash. I cheated and gave some people a lot of EXP, so they leveled up a lot after 1 battle, that may satisfy many skills' requirements, maybe? I had Ares learnt 3 skills in 1 siege, I think. Chloe can learn TripleStrike and Heal/MagicDefense(?) fine right before IceSlash too. I think Ares learnt FlameSlash fine too...
It may be unrelated but from the description you translated in the log shown, shouldn't the element slash skills swordman only? Maybe a game bug?

IceSlash is at lvl 13. Try leveling up naturally to 13 and learn the skill naturally. There is nothing special about the skill IceSlash. If your Chloe can learn one skill, she can learn another. The issue is you're power leveling her.

Or send me a save file and I can try to code it to ignore learning the same skill in a single battle myself.
 
My game crashes from learning Ice Slash as well. My characters are all leveled up legit. The savefile isn't an allowed extension to attach. Both Leanne and Chloe can learn Ice Slash. Might not be an issue with your patch, maybe it's the base game, but I'm not nearly ambitious enough to check. I do know Ice Slash worked in older versions.

This is concerning. I haven't played that far into the game yet, but if it is indeed a problem with that spell, I can remove it entirely from the game.

I'll pull your save down and play around with it...

I removed the skill IceSlash from the character's "Can Learn" list. The code is still in the game but nobody will learn the skill. I was able to use your save and play on successfully since nobody will learn IceSlash and use it.

I've tried numerous things, but can't get it to work. Should not impact the game in any significant way and I can always revert it.

Get it on v1.02

I actually fixed it. Putting back IceSlash into the game in v1.03
 
I got another crash with 1.03. This time
it crashed right after I captured the last castle in the map, right side. Seems like the king was killed, and a demon castle rose up from the sea, left side of the "capital".

I will release a fix shortly. Please let me know if it fixes it. Seems straightforward. Thanks for reporting the bugs in the fashion I asked for.
