"M...Mei-Lien..." Hannah muttered, staggering back. "Please..." The centaur cried out in pain as her front legs were cut into, crippling her, and Hannah clenched her fists. "Please, no, don't! Please! I'll do anything! Anything you tell me to! Name it, I'll do it, just don't kill us!" she cried, tears flowing down her cheeks. "Mei-Lien... If you're going to do things like this, then..." Hannah said, slowly backing away for a bit before she stopped and clenched her fists tightly enough that blood slowly trickled down her fingers as she cut into her palms with her nails. "You'll have to knock me unconscious first" she said finally, glaring at the fighter with a bit of fear, not at what she might do to her, but at the thought that this might be the real Mei-Lien. "I won't be a party to this."

Though it was expected from the rich, overtly kind Hannah, Mei was not happy about the thought of losing her wealthy back-up and massager. Giving out a low growl, she eventually tosses the axe aside, hearing it land loudly on the floor. "I'm going to regret giving your kind a chance, two-faced cowards..." she steamed, starting to make her way out from the room. Along the way, she stopped near the male centaur, giving him a nasty kick to the side. "Learn to be a little more patient with other creatures and don't just follow some blind prejudices you've been taught and attack them on sight. There's worse people out there than me. And teach this lesson to this blockhead here as well, he needs it more than you do..." the fighter said, flipping her hair back as she made it out from the room, leaving Hannah behind with the centaurs. If the mage still wanted to follow her, Mei would wait for her in the corridor.

"Thank you, thank you!" the female centaur cried out, even as Mei-Lien gave her husband a vicious kick to the side. Hannah trembled a bit as Mei-Lien passed her, but let her pass. Mei-Lien had to wait for only a few minutes before she saw the mage slowly walk out of the door. "You know..." she started out quietly, "you could have just knocked me out. At that point I sort of expected you to... but you need to calm down a little. Even if they were trying to kill us, and you really must kill them, then just do it. Don't act like some sort of animal playing with its food."

"That is the way I handle things. Especially things that shoot arrows into my body and expect me to show them mercy afterwards. It's not a lesson to them if you just end it like that, it needs to be slow and purposeful." she said, not looking towards Hannah as she spoke. This kindly act was starting to get on Mei's nerves.

Hannah gave a heavy sigh. "I know that they should probably be punished, but there's a difference between punishing them and torturing them. Next time do whatever it is you feel you need to, just don't make me witness it, please."

"If my fun is not for you, then don't be there in the same room, it's simple as that. Duck out for the time being and let me do what I want. I end to get a bit angry when the nerves on my shoulders get threatened with permanent damage from something like arrows. You do realize that if I lose the strenght in my arms, there's not much for me to do in this world anymore?" she gave her answer, slowly moving her attention towards the left door.

"Permanent damage? I'm not totally useless. I can heal pretty much any injury you might get. Anything short of fatal, and some of those. So you won't have to worry about that sort of thing while I'm with you" Hannah replied, sighing again and looking to the left door. "Shall we go?"

"Really now? It didn't look that easy some of the previous times I saw you do it..." the fighter replied, not saying anything afterwards as she entered the room behind the left door.

"Just because it's not easy on me doesn't mean I can't do it. The worst that happens is that I pass out afterwards, but I can handle that" Hannah said, nodding. They walked through the door and into the next room, which again had only half a roof, but this one also had a section of wall that seemed intentionally low. A few branches filled with berries poked through the opening, and standing there eating the berries off the branch was an enormous black bear. Sensing their presence, the bear turned and roared at them, preparing a charge.

(Hannah is developing, grumble grumble...)

"Hmph, alright. I'll keep that in mind. Not too versed in all this magic stuff, so I wouldn't know how it works..." she replied as another half-roofed area opened in front of them. And then, there was the berry-munching bear. "Oh great..." Mei thought as she saw the bear ready for a charge. It was a simple animal, so the fighter took up her stance and prepared to meet the rushing ursine in combat.

Mei-Lien waits until the charging bear is close, and gives it a kick to the side of the head, stunning it enough that Hannah could hit it with her fireballs. The bear still managed to charge and throw Mei-Lien into the wall with a powerful swipe of its claws. Despite being battered against the stone Mei-Lien quickly rebounds, rolling forward and kicking the bear in its lower side as it ran at Hannah, who shoots two more fireballs at the thing, impacting it so harshly that it staggered back and refused to attack. This battle seemed almost over already, as the two of them had beaten the bear up badly.

"You're way too predictable, teddy..." Mei thought as the bear headed straight in their direction. Her quick foot catches the thing on square on the head, which it partially ignores and smashes the fighter back, sending her to the nearby wall. Mei is somewhat used to these kinds of situation though, and swiftly does a recovery roll from the wall, giving yet another kick to the bear as Hannah lays the fiery smackdown on the animal's hairy behind. It was looking good, but they shouldn't feel too good yet, it could still go both ways. With that in mind, the red-hair kept up her attack in hopes of finishing the fight without too many hard knocks

Mei-Lien rushes at the bear, giving it a punch to its face as Hannah shoots another fireball into the bear. The bear's counterattack misses, but it puts on a reasonable display of agility, dodging the next few attacks, until Mei-Lien finally manages to land a kick to the side of its head, knocking it unconscious. "We did pretty well there. We beat it up pretty quick" Hannah said, while Mei-Lien saw a popup.

With a mad rush, Mei literally punches a bear in the face. It felt strange, but she had punched stranger things before, like a dinosaur. After a brief exchange between all three of them, her shapely leg finishes the battle, delivering a hard blow on the bear's head. Once the animal was down, Mei let out a sigh of relief. This had gone so well, she couldn't believe it. "We sure did." the fighter replied to Hannah, giving out a little smile as she saw the pop-up.

After a brief investigation at the room, she'd lead Hannah back to first corridor and continue forward.

There wasn't really anything useful in the room, though Hannah picked a few berries and tried them. "They taste pretty good, want any?" she asked picking some for Mei-Lien if the fighter accepted, and otherwise continuing on to the main pathway again, heading deeper into the structure, and then taking a right turn with the path. Eventually they came to a T-junction, with a smaller branch to the right, and the main path continuing to the left.

Giving Hannah a quick look, Mei took some berries herself, nomming them down pretty quickly.

They went down the hallways, back to the first intersection and to the right where the pair hadn't been before. There was a T-junction ahead of them, with a smaller and larger path. Mei opted for the smaller one, taking the door when it came to them.

Hannah follows Mei-Lien along the path and then through another of the magical doors, saying "I'm starting to get an idea of what this building is" as they entered another room that seemed mostly empty. This one had a full roof, and as they looked around they saw a little bit of green liquid dripping off the ceiling... As they looked up they saw a ceiling covered in slimes, two of which dropped down to the floor as they seemed to perceive the presence of the two girls.

Mei could hear Hannah suggest that she was getting an idea about the origins of the building as they entered the new room. "Is that so? Do te-" her reply was cut short as the twin slimes dropped from the ceiling. "Tell me after we've dealt with them..." the fighter said as she was already moving forward to attack with low kicks, knowing full well that defensive fighting was not too smart against these things.

Mei-Lien's kick sends the slime flying against the wall, splattering briefly before coalescing again. Hannah launched a couple of fireballs at it as it tried to get itself together, missing with one of them, but slamming it and evaporating a piece of it with the other. The slime shrugged off the blow, however, and launched itself at Mei-Lien with abnormal speed, slamming into her legs and knocking her over onto the ground, engulfing her up to her knees as she started to get aroused. The other slime then went after Hannah, managing to engulf her ankles, but she quickly retaliated with a large fireball that badly burned the slime and forced it off her, giving her the chance to send one of her fireballs at the slime engulfing Mei-Lien, though she wasn't able to hit it due to her caution against friendly fire. Mei-Lien struggled against the slime, but couldn't dislodge herself, though she did manage to keep it from engulfing her further. The second slime lunged at Hannah again, though this time she was able to sidestep and avoid it.

As a battlecry left her lips, Mei sent a low football kick into the slime, throwing it away from her into the wall beyond. The thing ate a fireball along the way, but still managed to gather itself and pull out a freakishly fast tackle at the fighter. Suddenly up to her knees in slime, she tried to struggle away against the goop, but it was rather sticky and held on to her legs like a little kid. "Off me, snotball!!" Mei yelled at the green slimey, attempting to swat and flail at it to prevent it further entrapping her.
