Not necessarily Sin, the Legendary ending shows him drifting towards a Forerunner planet. There HAS to be more.

There can easily be more. There always can easily be more with many things. Look at Starcraft. How fuckin wide open was the ending of Brood War, but we had to wait 10 years.
Now I know Halo is different, being that 3 games and two spin-off games have come out in the span of about a decade, but Bungie isn't in Microsoft's boat at the moment, which could cause some... difficulties in making the next Halo game.
They don't seem to want to push into unfamiliar territory. They want to stick with the Human-Covenant war. As soon as Halo3 finished they moved on to ODST and Halo Wars, and are now making Halo Reach. To me, the possibility of expanding past the third game, which gave a fairly solid ending to the story arc, is fairly slim for the moment.

Also... how'd ye know it was a forerunner planet? Could it not be something else entirely?

I'd have to agree that it's likely a forerunner world. At the very least, it's a world construct.

What video are you using to deduce that? 'Cause to me it looks like the shapes on that planet could be anything, craters, buildings, whatever.

I want to believe it's some kind of Forerunner planet or something as well though. And poor Cortana:'( When she crosses har arms as if she's cold after MC goes to sleep. Touches me a little.

Anyways...

The light patterns are large and regular, so unless it's a world spanning city, it's likely a world construct.

Well... you paid much more attention than me. Though, even if the chief landed on a Forerunner planet... he'd still be screwed. Didn't they all die out? Arn't humans the reclaimers?

Regardless, I'm still not sure if they'll push beyond Halo3 very soon. Perhaps someday... and perhaps it will wrap into Marathon.

Going to be gone on Thursday. Shockingly, I'll be in Southern California for the NCAA College Football BCS National Championship between #2 Texas Longhorns, and #1 Alabama Crimson Tide.


So don't expect any updates from me after tomorrow night, unless I get a chance to log in on a laptop just before the game. Will be back sometime Friday, just not sure when.


Only one thing left to say, and that is .....
