New profile pic! Going to segregate my real life and my tentacle life a little... Seeing as when I simultaneously receive the Nobel prize and become a pop star I don't want some sensationalist newspaper taking a crap on my future...

The words are "Jus meum tuebor" Roughly translated it means "I will defend my right." And it's the family motto for one side of my family.

I should totally make a combination crest with the crests of both my "bloodlines" or whatever it's called.

Also, yes I guess I have joined you segregated people now:p

Also, when I become a pop star, ULMF will not get an official bonus of any sort... But VIP passes and other goodies might find their way to "Random" fans:p

But I'm not including you guys in my Nobel Prize speech... Sorry.

I've been talking to someone about family mottos a lot recently.

"Malo Mori Quam Foedari"
I've heard it translated multiple ways, but basically it means "death rather than disgrace"

"Death before dishonor" sounds like another popular translation of that, sounds like. I may have to remember the Latin. I've got a charrie that's learning it, and well, sounds like something she'd say, especially to the "dragon" she owes favors to, considering he's constantly telling her that if she ever gets tired of being a white knight, he could use someone with her talents. I think the last time he asked (which was also the first time) he got "If you ever get ti--" out before she shot him down.

Good evening. my name is Taylor and I am a friend of Christine (gatorbait). Christine was involved in a bad accident last friday. she was driving her car home from work when a pickup truck in the oncoming lane came over the median and hit her head on. she passed away two days later. I thought I should inform you guys. she cared alot about the community here and even though I don't understand the half of this stuff, she loved it. she would talk fondly about this and several other internet communities she was a part of but this one in particular helped her get though dark times in her past. i wanted to let you know that and to give you my thanks. Its been a hard past week for all of us, but i might check back later on in case any of you have questions. Thanks again...

I didn't know her as well as some of the older members of this forum but I know she was a very liked personality here and very welcoming to new members here. This is really sad... Rest in peace, Christine!

Oh god, that's terrible. I'm so very sorry Taylor. We cared for her dearly as well. Whatever we may seem, we're a community and she was a strong cornerstone of that. I thank you so much for coming on here and informing us of what happened, as hard as it must be for you to relay it and for us to hear it, I am grateful to know, and believe most of us are. We all shed our tears for her, and our hearts go out to you and all her friends through this period.
