Yeah, I was surprised people like Monster Girls friendly too. IMO the appeal is the whole dominance thing from MGQ.

What do you mean, you'd rather have other positions that loop? Or be able to pick which position loops at the end?
wasnt the whole point of mgq to have kinky friendly mg (?) also paradox did that so everyone could play with their mg waifus in a team.

Honestly, you can never go wrong with variety.
Having sex being only a losing/lost kind of thing gets annoying really fast, in my experience.
I mean I'm playing an H game, and to get H content I have to either sacrifice progress and intentionally do bad or I'll miss 90% of it.

Here is an idea I have that might fit lorewise:

Winning doesn't have to be a sex scene, but the player can work towards an victory where using certain spells/playstyle and/or dialogue options he can fill a new resource that will result in reverting/resisting the magic draining and end up with a dominant scene.

This way the path is completely optional and doesn't interfere with the original one and it will get a broader audience IMO.

There is a thing planned that has to do with the witch Kilia, so maybe you'll enjoy that. :)

You mean something like desire dungeon, where you have the possibility of winning through seducing the girl? Do you know of a better example that uses such mechanics. I might do something special with a monster girls if I feel I can implement it correctly.

On the flip, I find the repetition in h-games (and especially western ones) where the consequences of a bad decision costs you content. I'm not a fan of always needing to win to get to content, especially if it's vanilla or not my thing. I'll grant Pervy this much; they keep things interesting by making a bad end available alongside the good stuff. The only weakness of their games is no cg, but that's another discussion for another thread.

Loss scenes/bad ends are a staple in the MG genre. Most people prefer it that way, since it ties into an underlying desire to be sexually dominated by a powerful female in a variety of fashions. It could also be part of a desire to be dominated in general, or being reduced to a semen-producing sex toy. Why MGQ got so popular (aside the decent story) was because it did something different from the norm of "progress to get some ass."

First and foremost, seeking a "broader audience" seldom works. EA and their subsidiaries are proof of this. I don't want to come off as rude, but Bluepysax doesn't need a "broader audience", but to simply appeal to the one within the genre. Most MG fans are in it for the "sex with monsters" aspect coupled with "she dominated me and turned me into a semen toy" aspect. The only MG-based game to even come close to the same level of success as MGQ itself and change the formula to some degree is MonsterGirl Island, and even that's hit a stumbling block of sorts iirc. Changing so much of what drew people to support your content in favor of one person's suggestion to appeal to a "broader audience" is self-destructive at best.

Second, while your idea sounds neat and could be a cool addition, I feel like it borders too closely to mimicry of another title Bluepysax already mentioned. I also get the impression that while Leo (the protag) could ask the witches to teach him some seduction techniques or power drain abilities, it's ultimately a matter of him being an uber-pervert like Luka or the multitude of boys from the Violated Hero series. The formula is pretty generic and has been done to the point of beating a horse's corpse with a blunt instrument, but it's also the most appealing for the fans of the genre. You could do it; but then it kind of defeats the purpose of the character being a closet pervert, right?

My observation is that porn in general tends to combine two kinks into one so frequently that people don't bother to separate them anymore when making things like MGQ. There is a difference between female assertiveness and bitchy, hostile, degrading shit-talking that 9/10 of the girls from MGQ do. This is also why you can't really pull up any femdom tagged porn movies/clips without having to listen to the porn stars shriek at the cameras like dissatisfied banshees. I know some people like both together, but there's probably an even larger group of people who would prefer one without the other.

You can have "friendly" or even "ominous" girls who are having their way with their victims that are not afflicted with a pathological need to bitch at and insult them. There is a succubus themed 3D CGI movie called "MR Sakubasu" that represents this fairly well. Fair warning, all the animation outside of the sex scenes is horrible and there are some bizarre stylistic choices, but if you can make it through that the sex scenes are quite decent. Another warning, death by snu-snu is depicted since they're succubi.

From my own failed attempt at translating/remaking an abandoned RPGMaker2K h-game from the good old BFSet days, I discovered that the friendly and sweet but totally killing you with sex succubus is surprisingly sinister and popular.

Ah yes, Mr Sakubasu, great movie. Maybe you can find satisfaction in some of the other monster girls though. I'll definitely be keeping this comment in mind for when I start adding girls again.

I just uploaded a new version of the demo, containing the witch scenes. Graphics improvements are in progress, partially in the demo now. Currently I'm reworking many of the girls, making them look much better. As you can see the witch girl Majika is already very much improved and the succubus Zaelyana, while not finished also looks better than ever.

It's now possible to continue text with 'e', turn on fast forward with 'f', and hide the dialogue box with 'r' or 'middle mouse button'.

Haha, yeah I noticed that. I changed it back to "game" now. I think I'll just leave it like this for everything now, since it'll be fine for the scenes as well.

to be honest at first i pirated you stuff and i think thats a "common" thing theses days, but i was realy...ehm...pleased....about what i saw and decided after a few months to support you. so yeah while i totally agree with you, i think developers today get more supporters than they think through pirating
but thats just my opinnion

The Genie girl and Sphinx girl have gotten an update. I've also added the option for turning off a few post-processing effects, which can help if you had any framerate problems. Holly the Holstaur's idle animation is different too, so it doesn't look like she's pulling off her fur anymore. The HideUI button now also works in combat replay mode.

I've been getting some very positive reactions lately, which I really appreciate. :) So thank you all very much for the support.

I wish the game wouldn't be pirated as much, but I do get it. Just know that supporting the patreon does increase the speed at which I can develop the game, as I still need to do the pesky ol' normal job to eat food and stuff. In any case, I will continue to develop the game and try to improve my dev skills and hope as many people as possible find it worthwhile to support the project. :)

I've pirated games often enough to see whether I actually liked them, so it's hard to be mad about. x) And yeah, wouldn't be surprised if that happens a lot.

Thanks! Really trying to improve my art! Learned a lot since I started this project. :)

The slime girls just got a new release. Now it's time to work on Cathy, who will get the biggest overhaul, as I want to remodel her. After she's done, I'll have one more vote on a new girl, and then continue adding combat scenes for all the currently available girls.

Those hands.....maybe using cartoony cat paws wasnt a good idea, but yeah she looks a lot wat better than before.
