Yeah, we'd be here all freaking day. I love me a bit of nostalgia, but even then, I gotta draw the line somewhere.

On the subject of ponies, while I was at Anime Boston, there was a gal there that did "customized" ones. She'd take the old ones and paint them up. There was a steampunk one and "cutethulu" with little tentacles at the snout. I asked her if she had any of the Apocalypse Ponies but she said no :(

So yeah. Just watched all 26 episodes (13 yesterday, 13 today).

First episode was well done.
Unfortunately, the second episode felt rushed. I get that they had to make it fit into a 30 minute slot, but it felt like they were rushing to tell which pony embodied which element.

And, of course, after those first two episodes, nothing that happened is EVER MENTIONED AGAIN.

As for the rest of the episodes... well, it was a well done kids show.
It covered a wide range of topics perfect for the high-school demographic, which I'm sure is what it was aiming at..... even though it made the biggest hit with the male 18-24 demographic, apparently...

ALSO: Fluttershy is the only one I'm truly scared of. The others have their scary moments, but Fluttershy SCARES ME, MAN.

Funny that you seemed to enjoy the first episode the most. That's the episode that I wouldn't personally never recommend to anybody trying to get into the series. Yes, it explains the story well, but it's honestly the "girliest" and "mushiest" of them all. Probably has the most singing in it than any other episode too.

It's not that I like the first episode the most, but compared to the second episode, it felt better done.

Personally, I like the Poison Joke episode the most. Good message behind it, and OH MY GOD DEEP-VOICE FLUTTERSHY.

I personally find The Best Night Ever to have the best Fluttershy moments and the best Pinkie Pie song... Pony Pokey!

I was gonna freak at you Kusa, but then I noticed your typo... I was afraid I somehow missed 10 episodes...

I think every episode has the best example of something... For example: Stare Master? OH MY GOD, I will NEVER call a chicken the same way again...

SCOOTALOO... SCOOT-SCOOT-SCOOTALOOOOO!!!!

Oh, and Obe... ANY scene with Fluttershy is fappable...

The fact that this thread is getting more posts makes me happy. Also, Pinkie scares me a bit more than Fluttershy. Crazy is a bit more disturbing than violent to me.

I have to say, though, Sapphire Shores is best pony. I don't know why I think this, and I'm apparently the only one who does. But that's that.
