I'm kinda leaning towards buying it just so I a hilariously disturbing skeleton for my kids to dig up once they decide to snoop through my closet decades from now. That and I do like the way Rainbow and Applejack look. But mostly to traumatize future generations.

Very first episode of the season makes it a point to clash with some of the bullshit they did in the movie, I get the feeling they KNOW the movie sucked and it was something they were forced to slap together by the company to push toy sales.

Eps are back to traditional pony and trying to not let the horrible movie taint the rest of it.

It seems pretty clear they're trying to say "Sorry about that movie guys, we were ordered to do it so they could try(And probably fail) to sell toys. Have some normal pony instead"

And so far the season is pretty good. I'm pretty sure the first ep has more porn of it than one would expect from a sane fandom
