[Nutaku] Idol Wars

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

So i started playing. Anything I should know? Tips?

Where I should spend abilities and skill books etc?

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

Not sure what Trainee Position does. Will find out in a few days for sure.

When it comes to N cards I have been limit breaking 4 of them together for each unique N card and feeding the rest. I noticed you get awakening rewards so that might be worth it later when I have extra N items. 150 slots for idols so far makes it easy to keep a maxed copy.

Focus on increasing the QP max up (at the bottom of quest tree). It is really worth it since it increase both the gain from level up and from the refill items (so you can level up faster afterward).

Also, don't spend any point in increase cost (at the bottom, again). You will have enough from the quest abilities ranks.

And finally, on wheels in quests, focus on SSR/SR/R items instead of rare tickets. You can have tickets easily (and rare quest tickets aren't that good anyways), but it is the best way to get items.

Edit: I forgot to say: Each time you see a "NEW" on the coop button, you rush it. You need to do as much coop as you can.

Edit 2:
Does someone know what the last effect does? The highest level in legend rank (even if I have more quest levels that him :p) rush for that, so I would like to know if it's really worth it.

You get one other at 1 200 000 DF pts.

Since I planned a reset (15 points wasted in increasing max cost and DP max), it may be useful to know where to go.

Got the answer on discord: The trainee grants slots for dream fest (but without their skills). So you can have additionnal idols in addition of the 20 base.

The discord link expired sorry I'm using it so late from when you posted it. X_X

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

any recommendation on what skill to level first under dream fest category?

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

The only way to get the awakening itens is through those dauly quests boss battles?
That brutal. I was barely able to fight today's boss thrice, and I failed at getting the right ranking microphone every time...

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

I'm not sure how to determine who to fight in Live Battles, or really what my team is really doing. I usually just pick a person with a lot of loses. Any suggestions, thoughts, hints, etc about Live Battles?

Dream Battles seem fairly easy. Really about combos and timing of moves and keeping your DPs up so you can do skills.

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

I recommend a few things to help people in this game:
  • Don't waste your time with N cards. Just feed them to other cards to level them. I personally limit break each unique N card and use the rest. You can later max their level for free items (skill books and such) but this is later game.
  • When questing go for the N/R/SR/SSR items and not the gacha tickets. Tickets are easy to get with scouting.
  • Level up your Quest skills for Max QP once available. Getting to 200 QP is easy and helpful as you level. Don't waste your points on Unit Cost you will get lots of this from the other skills.
  • Spend your money (dl) on the 50%/30% QP potions and farm levels. You can see the exp remaining on the quest screen. It's roughly 1 XP per 1 QP though you may have a 20% bonus from your production title.
  • Scouting (i.e., raid bosses) is your friend. Get the free hit in for 0 SP on every boss you see! You can get lots of free gacha tickets, coaches, and money by doing so. It's tedious but worth it.
  • Also when scouting try not to waste your SP unless it's a rare Awaken boss. For your own spawns it's best to get it over 50% then share it (co-op). You will get MVP reward that way.
  • Level up all your SSR/SR cards being used in your deck (DF, Scouting, Live Battle) to at least level 40. This will maximize your performance stat.
  • As a newbie do live battles to get free rewards and bonuses. The first 6-8 ranks are easy. You can get extra items from win streaks. Higher ranks give you a performance bonus in Dream Fest (DF).
  • Make sure to go to Unit -> Live Battle and update your team as you get new cards. This deck will not update itself like the other two.

That covers a lot of the basics. Hope it is helpful!

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

I sometimes get this chance to "upgrade" the door from silver to gold during gacha by clicking it multiple times. Is there some sort of trick to it because I keep failing.

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

^ Nope, you just gotta click like mad (in the event the clicking isn't rigged/fake hope and the result doesn't change whatever you do).

Though I out-clicked a gold door and upgraded it to rainbow once (SSR for free is always nice)

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

I've upgraded a gold door to rainbow before. Just clicked fairly fast with my mouse. Not sure if the clicks really matter I bet it is RNG based.

I forgot another tip or two:
- When playing roulette hold your mouse button down and let it go on top of what you want. It can be a little easier.
- Don't forget to go to the Rare Medal Shop from the menu and buy R Gacha Tickets for 30 and 50 medals. You get medals for limit breaking R and above cards.

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

Don't worry, SSR awaken items should be a lot easier to get once our first event starts.

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

yep also just upgraded door to rainbow (dat dupe though)

but afaik it's just a tension builder. no matter if you click or not - result will stay the same.

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

I find it incredibly unlikely that your clicking has any actual effect - it's like the fairy/pot colours from DP/FKG, just there to get you excited, get your lizard brain going.

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

So what is the special tab in the quest and how it works?

My assumption is that it works like Zodiac shrine battles in DP. Your production/guild enters special events, if you rank decently you get keys that let you enter the special quests. The special quests give really powerful girls (in DP their max level is 100, before any limit breaks)

Re: [Nutaku] Idol Wars

After playing this a little, it looks like it's basically Dragon Providence, just with a different theme. Basically all the mechanics are essentially the same. And I burnt myself out on DP already, so yeah, not picking up this one.

I probably would of done the same but its the opposite for me. I didn't really play DP but I did play this so I probably won't play both as their essentially the same from what I've been hearing.
