No. As far as I understand, both cards must be maxed in order to obtain the 10% bonus. It does not matter which stage you max the cards on for the ++ version if you only evolve at max once. If you want numbers....

UC and UC = 105% UC+
UC and Max UC = 105% UC+
Max UC and Max UC = 110% UC+
105% UC+ and 105% UC+ = 110.25% (1.05*1.05) UC++
105% UC+ and 110% UC+ = 110.25% (1.05*1.05) UC++
105% Maxed UC+ and 105% Maxed UC+ = 115.5% (1.05*1.10) UC++
110% UC+ and 110% UC+ = 115.5% (1.10*1.05) UC++
110% Maxed UC+ and 110% Maxed UC+ = 121% UC++

Keep in mind these are all on top of the base stat increases a card gets from evolution.

Erm, I don't see anything that I can buy for 100 gold. Lotto tickets are 500. I don't see a package. What am I missing?

It should be called the "Limited 100 points set" right under "Smelly Bag x3" in the in-game Shop.

Regarding these max lvl card, any idea the easy way to lvl them?
most my card stuck at lv 20 curently and i doubt it i can max lvl it to 45.

also do my own testing 2 of the same card
1st case: lv1 + lv1 = atk 402
2nd case: lv2 + lv1 = atk 406
looks like every lvl count for end stat, but at same time lets say u want to max a R card need 4x lvl 45 on it and since it the exact same card = same element will be a total pain.

Does it mean that evolving R max lvl to R+
then R+ max lvl to R++ will yield a stronger card compared to
R(lvl 1) -> R+
R+ max lvl ->R++

Or should I just max lvl the R+ ignore the 1st evol?
It's been mentioned a few times but I'm still not getting it, so sorry.

Yes. maxing it out before evolving will result in the card being stronger, after evolving.

Max everything. Max the cards used to evolve. Max the evolved cards. Max your equipment. Max your stats. Max. Everything. =w=b (No seriously though. Max the four cards you used to evolve and the two +cards that were evolved AND the final evolved ++card.)

Oh, huh, so it's the Fire Emblem style of leveling. Good to know. Also, that sounds absurdly expensive and time consuming.

Oh it is. But there are also these items/cards/things called books (ex. Book of Earth) that make the process faster apparently. I don't know since I've never gotten one.

Weakest: Combine four base cards at level 1 to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at level 1 to get a ++ card with the lowest stat cap.
Why do this: If you just want to fill in that card for your collection, but don't plan to actually use it long-term.

Weaker: Combine four base cards at max level to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at level 1 to get a ++ card with a slightly higher stat cap.
Why do this: Don't. You're better off combining for the + and then working on those if you're planning on only going halfway with maxing things.

Stronger: Combine four base cards at level 1 to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at max level to get a ++ card with a decently high stat cap (about 15%? lower than the strongest).
Why do this: If you want to have decently strong R cards, but don't want to go insane getting all the other cards to feed them when they'll eventually be replaced by SRs or SSRs way down the line anyway. It's the difference between leveling three cards and seven cards.

Strongest: Combine four base cards at max level to get two + cards. Combine those two + cards at max level to get a ++ card with the highest possible stat cap.
Why do this: If you absolutely must have the strongest card possible. You'll have the highest stat cap for the one card you build towards, but keep in mind that this involves leveling seven cards to the max level for about a 15% increase in power.

And then there's things in-between (like leveling the base cards to 10 before turning them into + cards that you'll max later), but this should hopefully be useful to get a better general idea of things.

Thanks, I'm thinking about doing the Stronger version with the pile of T8 drop Rs I have but am undecided...

Any input from veterans?

Thanks a lot for fully explaining things, I kept getting confused what to max. >w<

And yeah, fully agree this will probably eat up A LOT of fodder cards just to max level ONE card.

Leveling cards become easier(relatively) during events. The reason its takes so long now is because there are no real decent stages to farm xp fodder in the story mode.

The power of your cards only really gates you in story mode, if you cant progress and absolutely want/need to then do what you need to do. Otherwise my opinion is do whatever is convenient with any cards past the basic 4 your gonna need to 4max a card, then consider how easily you can should you decide you need to replace them and if you have the bag space. Lastly I'll just warn you that unless there are significant changes the latter investigation dungeons will have some pretty vicious requirements to complete which goes back to how easily you can replace cards. Because some R++ cards with skills will be the difference between a team costing 70k to send out and one costing over 150-200k per cause you had to replace them with SRs you had lying around.

Hmmm basically investigation dungeons are the biggest reason to 4max cards you know your not gonna use but you also can't predict how fast your gonna be able to switch out all your cards so some may stick around longer than you think. If you a have the space to store them I personally don't think there isnt a reason not to 4max your cards, most free players aren't gonna get different cards fast enough and people who pay can buy storage.

Where do you see those card skills? All I see here is either physical or magic. Are there cards with effect abilities?

Jp only you wont see them because they dont get added until the dungeons do. Cards dont have any extra effects otherwise.
