Pretty much. Perceived measure of success, anyways. When it comes to gambling, people will do any number of nonsensical things if they believe it gives them an edge. I guess clearing your browsers cache isn't one of the craziest theories. But it could be just as likely to hurt your chances as to help them. Or maybe... just maybe... it does nothing at all!

Only thing that happened to me when I didn't clear my cache after an update was that some of the 2k gacha portraits were missing. But I was still getting silvers at a regular rate. They just didn't have any pictures lol.

So how difficult are the gold rush maps compared to the normal events? Also, have the drop rates for the maps % been calculated?

Difficult ? well i say about the same as aria event.
the warning note is lvl 25 (non CC) can 1 star.
As for drop rate i think its the usual 7% silver / 5% rare drop item / 5-7% platinum.... map cost 30chr/2stam so yeah its cheap

Its most likely safe to assume the summon probabilities listed in the Shrine are accurate and that the developer is not lying to us. I'd guess 2k summon also works on a static % chance. Sources from the wikis also seem to agree.

I officially declare that 2k gacha is totally screwed and rigged

I accumulated 1.2 million gold and spent a million out of it just today.

Here are the results:

6 elaines ( i aready had frigging seven of them!!!!)

5 assasin girl cicilyies

two bandit boss mortimers

that's it. no golds, no nothing else.

So pray any1 tell me how come of the what 20+ range of all silver unit types available i get 13 copies of three types most useless???? What's the mathematical probability, supposing the 2k gacha is "just" and "fair"???????????

for 2k gatcha, there is a 3.5% of getting a silver, 0.1% at gold, and less than that for plat and blacks
so of your 500 rolls, the mean would be about 17.5 silvers, the math probability of you only getting 13 of them would be 0.1368, or about being in the 14th percentile,
if i'm doing the math right (or it could be .1972 probability)(anything higher than 5% or lower than 95% is considered not-unusual)
also you should be at the 76th percentile in not getting at least one gold unit

From my experience, it felt only need 1 princess over the long run, maybe you can add 2nd princess in place of valk (need 2 main duelist +1 back up), but reminder that valk have almost no cost for use as they have cost recovery 80% for CC / 100% for awaken (some ppl asked what cost recover before, its the cost return when u withdraw the unit) and their kill blow give u more cost to deploy.

I actually like having the option of having two Princesses (At the moment) if there continue to be maps like the final map of this event. Having two Princesses makes the final wave of Dragon Mages + the King/Soldier a joke if you have the correct healer placements. Ofc it can be done with a Valk too, but the way I play right now I've never had to use a Valkyrie. My only worry is that I have such a surplus of power units (Lots of plats, 3 princesses, Berna) that my current team would suffer in maps where you need a lot of low cost units out early but I haven't encountered any such maps yet so who can say.

The figures on wiki were pre 2k gatcha nerf. Silvers are closer now to 2%, or 2.5%? (Of course Nutaku gave us the nerfed version lol.)

I only got 2 useless silvers from pouring 600k+ in gatcha, so complain more pls. (Yesterday I was at ONE after 600k)

Clearing cache *may* help depending on how it is coded, but probably not.

if it's true, then i have no idea, for another source gcwiki of aigis gives an approximation of 3% for silvers though, but they seem more or less the same as the seesaawiki

i never even knew there was such a nerf, since in JP last week i got Mehlis from 2k gatcha (free roll, i rarely multi 2k roll) and within the last month i also got a Betty
Too bad I dont really use Mehlis in my JP account and Betty is already max CR

Are you sure? yesterday I spend 50k and had Cristopher (silver) and Vandal Garret (gold), and today spend other 70k and only Cyrus (gold)

All of those are lucky.
Just think this way if everyone keep geting gold silver with all those 2k roll, by now everyone team will be a full gold already.
I believe the % of silver 2.5%-3% are quite true and gold chance is 1%.

Next how to find up to date % drop rate. The main idea is multple ppl post their chance of coz this include the unlucky 1 as well not just ppl bragging or drama queen who never got drop .
Now with all of these info some ppl filed it up together and check the %, later on we mostly just assume from what stamina cost chr cost with the drop rate chance. After all the map cost always the same.
When we talk about rng there never be a 100% correct after all unless u have the system itself. even the same think 10,000x try of 3 set sometime they gonna difference by 1-2%

For example in jp gold rush, yesterday i did my 4x and i got 2x plat unit+ 2x silver, but no plat armor. Today i did 6x... and only got 1 plat armour..... Just cuz you lucky yesterday doesnt mean u think the drop % rate is high =)

Clearing the cache is not going to change anything. That's going to be a server side variable, the choice is decided well before you see what is going on. For those that may not have noticed, the back ground tells you well in advanced of the rarity you have rolled long before you see the unit. I'm sure this check is done with in a few Nano seconds of hitting the button to roll.

It's also likely that two individual rolls occur for anything silver or above. First roll determines if it is a iron/bronze which is the most common. If and when you get a roll (a mere 3%) for silver and above, a second roll occurs. This then splits the remaining rarities. Likely something like 80% silver, 10-15% gold, 5-9% Plat, and 1% for Black. This is why Black is said to be less than 1%. Granted this is if they are using strictly whole numbers, which may or may not be the case.

This prevents the server from having to make too many calculations, as it simply returns if a roll for silver or above is not made.

Since each roll is completely independent, its why we see streaks sometimes as each calculation has no idea about any others that were previously performed. The underlying algorithm for what it bases its variable off of (time clock ect) is also the likely cause of the streaks we see here and there, has nothing to do with our cache.

My basis for this?

I've played on my machine at home which is a server (dual Xeon quad core @ 3ghz, 16g ram), and my wife's notebook which uses Windows RT (the machine is from Japan, and no I cant read a lick of it (Atom processor 2g ram)) which is exceptionally slow. It takes 20-30 minutes to complete Pastoral Gate on it, yes it's that slow. I've seen the same streaks on both machines, so its obvious the speed or factors of the machine the player is using doesn't enter the equation.

Was actually pleasantly surprised the slow machine never did give me errors or connection issues out side of it being slower than molasses. I originally played LoV on the notebook cause not a lot of speed was needed in that game.

I wish I checked the currency exchange rates before purchasing Crystals, that left a bigger hole in my wallet than I expected.

As for drop rates, most of them are from aggregate data gathered by Japanese players and the rate for Gold+ units from 2k is definitely <0.1%.

Despara CCed is very nice for early armors or red gargoyles if you have the black faeries.
